“You are So Amazing”, This Made Ninety-Percent of Children Happy When They’d Heard it from Their Parents

What the children are actually needing from you, GOD-DAMN (no offense!!!) parents out there, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

Did you say something nice already today? Saying nice things often can make you happier. The CEO Foundation and the telecommunications companies worked together, and published the results of the survey of around 2,000 students ages fifteen to nineteen, and that everyone who’d said something nice on a day to day basis would hear something nice being said back to them fifty-seven percent every day. Those who’d not said it often, would only hear the good things said back to them less than ten percent. The experts believed, that saying good things can create this “cycle of goodness”, and from the beliefs of others, you will gain a better understanding of yourselves, and, it can help built up the school-age children’s self-confidence.

not my picture…

This very first of its kind focused on children in third grade to students in middle school level, found, when the children heart something good being said to or about them, they would feel very happy.

But, from the surveys, the person in charge of the sanitation department of the foundation, Yeh found, that nearly thirty-three percent of children had not heard ANY compliments from their parents in three weeks, and, when they’re rewarded, it was usually when they’d done well in school, and, they’d felt awful when they’d flunked a test, and when they felt that they’d not measured up. In other words, the societal values of giving compliments are only on the negative circumstances, when the kids get rewarded.

Yeh stressed, that children would mostly model after their mothers in saying compliments, then, it’s the classmates and friends, she’d suggested that parents should complement their young more, and naturally, the children will take after the parents, feel happy, and, continue the cycle of kindness. And the school teacher should be there to remind the children, “Did you say something nice to someone already today???”

a mother, giving her child a compliment here…and it still doesn’t COST anything!!!

And so, from this, you can still see, JUST how parental influences are, can’t you? But, in this day and age, we’d not zoomed in on the job well done, instead, it’s when the children brought home that red slip (or whatever the color those things are???), or that we’d gotten a call from our children’s schools, then, we’d start paying attention to them, and, this is negative attention, and, for kids, and the animals too, negative attention IS way, way, W-A-Y better, than NO attention at all!
