The burdens of being the SOLE caretaker finally overwhelmed this man here, and besides, he’d not wanted his father to keep on suffering, and so, he’d made the decisions, to commit suicide with his father, from the Newspapers, translated…
A cab driver, Huang because he’d needed to take care of his own bedridden father because his father had a stroke, for many years, he’d become economically strained, the two of them became mentally distressed and they’d started planning to die together; last year in November, Huang bought some charcoal, the father-and-son pair burned charcoal in their rental home to commit suicide, the father died, and the son’s life spared, but he’d become a vegetable. The Keelung District Attorney’s Office believed, that Huang was guilty of artificially causing suicide, a while ago, they’d closed the case, and gave Huang a delayed indictment.

The District Attorneys stated, that because Huang couldn’t continue cope with how his father had been overcome with illness, and had planned to die with his own father. His father passed away, he was, overwhelmed with grief, and because of the complications from carbon monoxide poisoning, he’d become severely demented himself, and he was registered, as a severely handicapped, and in the future, his families would have to feel tortured by his conditions, that it’s very pitiful, and so, the judge gave him a delayed punishment.
The neighbors of the father-and-son pair said, that Huang’s father had been sick for multiple years on end because of his stroke, and his son who was a cabdriver took very good care of him. That they’d used to see him, making the three meals for his own father, cleaning up the living environment; Huang’s father has a bad temper, and, he’d not abandoned him, and the neighbors are all watching, knew that he’d, fulfilled his filial piety responsibilities toward his own father.
Last year on November 9th, Huang bought some charcoal, and something to start a fire, closed all the doors and windows of the place they’d lived in, and managed, to stuff the crevasse under the doorway up, then, he’d fed his father sleeping pills and took the pills himself, then, burned the charcoal, to commit suicide.

And because Huang’s father’s son-in-law made a call to the house that evening, but nobody answered, he’d rushed to their rental home, and, immediately called emergency, and, as the firefighters rushed to the scene, they’d found Huang’s father, died, for several hours, and, because of the complications from carbon monoxide poisoning, Huang had brain injuries, and developed Parkinson’s Disease, he’s now, severely demented. And the case was investigated by the District Attorney’s Office, and, they’d settled the case.
So, this man, because he’d not wanted his father to keep on living with his inabilities, plus, he’s taken the pressures of being his father’s sole-caretaker too hard, that, was why he’d attempted to find an easier way out, and, this man had done everything he was supposed to, stayed by his father, made sure that his father is under good care, and yet, the burdens of not having anybody else to help him out, he’d lacked that support network, that can allow him to have time to breathe, that, was why, he’d cracked, and ended up, taking HIS own father’s life, and now, he’d become, demented too.
