A woman, Hsu with a drug addiction got knocked up, and not known who the father of her child is, her husband got angered, and filed for divorce, Hsu was taken to jail when her child was just four months of age, after she was released, she’d not shown any care or concerns for her young, and recently, she’d gotten put back into jail again. The Hsinbei Social Services Department ask the courts to terminate her parental rights, and, Hsu showed up in court, and didn’t contest to the rulings, the Hsinbei District Court approved the Social Services Department’s asking, and from here on out, Hsu is not to have ANY say in the upbringing of her own child.
The attorney, Huang said, that although Hsu still had visitation rights over her own child, and can file a motion to see him, but the education, the assets owned, along with related matters to her own young, has NOTHING to do with her from here on out, that the Social Services Department has the right to SUE her for child support payments; and, as the child grows up, s/he can also, file for motions with the courts, to NOT care for her/his own mother as she’d become elderly.
In 2010, Hsu from Hsinbei City got into a drug habit, and, got messed up in bad company, on the same year, she’d gotten pregnant after she was high, she didn’t even know who the birthfather was; Hsu’s husband couldn’t put up with her anymore, after Hsu gave birth the following January, he’d filed for divorce, back then, the child was registered as a legitimate child of their marriage.
Four months after Hsu gave birth, she was taken to jail for selling drugs, Hsu’s father scolded her for abusing drugs, having an affair, not willing to take in his own grandson, Hsu’s ex-husband also refused to care for the young son, and her sisters, showed NO willingness, to care for the baby, the Social Services Department placed the young child in foster care.
During the time as Hsu was serving her sentence, she’d not even asked about her own young, and after her release, she’d not visited him, nor shown care or concerns for him, she married again in May of 2012, two years ago, she was, divorced, later on, she was busted, for using amphetamine, entered and exited jail like clockwork; last year in June, she was, caught again, and, this January, the courts gave her a yearlong sentence, she’s currently, in jail.
The Social Service Department believed, that Hsu failed to live up to the responsibilities of a mother, that she’d not even cared about her underage children, not paid any child supports, failed to protect them, that they couldn’t expect her to change her ways at all; for the sake, of her five-year-old’s rights, they’d filed to terminate the relationship of her as a mother to her own young, the Social Services Department would become the legal guardian of her son.
And so, imagine how this kid who grows up, getting thrown away like TRASH by his own mother would react one day, when his own mother needed help being taken care of? It’s more than likely, that by then, this young child who would become a man, would no longer give a FUCKING damn about his own mother, because she’d not given the SLIGHTEST of ANYTHING to him, she’d not even, visited him, which was why the Social Services Department wanted the parental rights terminated in the first place.
