The Couple Were on the Verge of Divorce, the Father of the Newborn Child Took Her in an Attempt to Leap Off the Building at His Mother-in-Law’s Residence

The thirty-three year-old man, Su and his thirty-seven year-old wife, Wu were on the verge of divorcing, his wife walked out of the house, yesterday, Su went to find his wife at his in-laws in Tucheng, but wasn’t able to, and, in the moment’s anger, he’d carried his own six-months old young daughter, climbed up to the fifth floor roof of the steel shack, planned to commit suicide, taking his daughter with him, and, the police and firefighters worked hard, to talk some senses in him, and when he’d let his guards down, they’d pulled him back, and took the young infant daughter from him, successfully, prevented the tragedies.

The Guangfu subprecinct from the Tucheng Substation in Hsinbei City yesterday around noon-ish got a call, from the local residents, that there was a thief who was trying to enter into someone’s home, as the officers arrived, they’d found, that it was a father, holding his own young daughter, ranting about committing suicide. The officers climbed up onto the roof, attempted to talk Su off. But, as the officers got closer to him, Su started waving a craft’s knife at them, demanded that no one comes any closer, the police and the man were at a deadlock.

As the police were communicating with Su, the infant girl in Su’s arms was still, sucking on her bottle, but there were, a three-centimeter long gnash on Su’s forearm, and the blood had, gotten to the infant’s feet, the police were so worried, that the young child may get stabbed by him accidentally, and so, they can only, slowly, approach him.

The officer, Lu who’d once overseen a case Su was involved in asked Su, “Can I go over to you, then, according to Su’s request, he was able to, successfully, get close to Su, had his hand on Su’s shoulders, the other officers saw an opportunity, and subdued the man, and took the infant girl from his arms.

And so, thankfully for the quick mind, the quick reaction of the officer, the child wasn’t harmed, it could’ve been worse, had the man taken the leap, then, there would be, two lives which were lost in this, but thanks to the quick actions of the officers, they were able, to prevent the tragedies, this time around…
