“Reduce the sugar,” he’d told, after he’d ordered up his drink. With that scent of sorrowful request, at the same time, like he was, ordering the drink maker.
“If we removed the ice, there would still be pieces of it in your drink!”
“Remove the Ice.”, he’d repeated himself, without any facial expressions to the drink maker.
As if, ice is poisonous.
Then, just don’t put any ice in?
But, he was more than certain.
By the cash register, the shop posted out the standards: mildly sweetened, less sugar, half-sugar, or without any adjustments.
I doubt, that the human tongues can actually tell the difference.
or any way you may enjoy it!!!
After he’d paid for his drink, he’d stood, dumbfounded, waiting by the counters, for his own will to get totally, defeated.
In a world with less sugar and ice removed.
But, there would still be, smaller chunks of ice, floating on the surface of his drink.
It seemed, that he was, chewing over the words he’d just, blurted out to the worker at the teashop.
And so, this just shows, how HARD it is, to have things in life custom-made to your order, because NO matter how specific you’d told the makers what you wanted, the end product is NEVER exactly what you want, because there’s NO way anybody can be that precise on things, and that, is just how life is, and, you had better just, GET used to it already!!!
