A Man Was Caught, for Drunk Driving Seven Times, Sentenced to Serving Eight Months in Prison

We have here, a “repeated offender”, and yet, the judges never even considered having his driver’s license invoked!!! From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Lin, with SIX prior convicted drunk-driving offenses, was found again, drunk driving, he’d begged the judge to go easy on him, to allow him to pay a fine and not serve any time in jail, but the judge believed, that he’d offended again and again, that he’d not learned his lessons yet, and this time, during his probation period, he’d driven drunk again. The judge sentenced him to eight months in prison, and this time, he can’t pay his way out of serving time.

Thirteen years ago, Lin was arrested for drunk driving, sentenced to forty days in prison, later on, he’d toned it down a bit. Back in 2011, he’d started drinking and driving again, he’d gotten arrested at least once per year, and at most, he’d gotten arrested three times in a year, and each and every time, he was found to be way over the legal limits, and he’d either crashed his car somewhere, or that he was so drunk, passed out on the side of the road, and needed a lift to the hospitals.

And because he kept driving drunk, Lin was sentenced to eight, six, and nine months, he’d served a collective sentence of a year and ten months, he was just released from prison last August, and was turned into protective custody, but Lin hadn’t learned his lessons still. Last year on October 29, Lin was again, arrested for drunk driving by the police.

Lin knew that he’d drunk and driven endless number of times, that this time it’s not good for him. As the Tainan District Court reviewed over his case, he’d begged the judge to go easy on him, to allow him to pay the fines, but the judge believed that he’d drunk driven seven times, and is now considered, public danger, that he had NO regards for his own life, or the lives of others, sentenced him to eight months in jail, and mandated that he needed to serve his time in prison.

So, the court systems had given you god KNOWS how many chances, and yet, you’d still messed up, and this time, just like in the boy who cried wolf, nobody believed that you’re able to change, and so, you’re sentenced to serve your entire sentence, that just shows, that repeated offenders don’t get off easy!
