The member of the coastguard that was busted for taking his girlfriend onboard the navy ship, Hsu yesterday was found by his family, in the bathroom of the house, dead, he’d left a total of four final notes, addressed to his father, and others, stated that he’d not wanted to trouble his superiors, or his family members, Hsu’s father was overwhelmed with grief.
Hsu, who originally worked in the Northern Mechanical Unit of the Coastguard after gotten found out for taking his girlfriend onboard military ship was transferred to the Hsinchu Coastguard Unit, he reported for duty on the 16th of this month, worked on the 17th, had a day off on the 18th, was originally supposed to return to the services, but, he’d committed suicide yesterday.
Hsu left four separate notes for his father, his older cousin, his older sister, as well as his girlfriend, Lee, stated that he was bullied and was under great duress, and couldn’t handle it, so he’d committed suicide, stressed, that after he broke up with his girlfriend Lee in January, he’d learned that she was pregnant by February 23rd, and, two days later, he’d accompanied her to her checkups too.
Hsu was raised by his father, and the father stated that his son had been outstanding since he was growing up, that he’d not imagined that he would commit suicide after the words got out.
Based off of understanding, Hsu, the coastguard was originally working onboard the ship, two years ago in March, he’d met Lee using a communications app on his cell phone, and after they broken up earlier in January, Lee accused him of how he’d invited her to stay onboard the coastguard ships in the time the ship docked in the Port of Taipei, and after they’d had sexual intercourse, he’d abandoned her. And Lee had gone to the press and the media about what he’d done.
The investigative unit of the Coastguard investigated, Hsu denied having had his girlfriend onboard the ships, and that he’d not had sexual intercourse with her, and the members of the crew also testified, that they’d not see Lee stay onboard the ship either. After Hsu learned that his girlfriend was pregnant, they’d talked of marriage, but after he’d heard, that Lee had two children with her ex-husband and was still living under the same roof as he currently, he’d considered how different their values are and the huge differences in their family backgrounds, that, was when they broke up.
And, the Coastguard Main Offices used the reason of how Hsu took his girlfriend onboard the ship without first asking for permissions to, that he’d broken the disciplinary code of being a coastguard, gave him a major reprimand, and transferred him to a distant region to work, and they’re going after his superior officers for allowing him to take his girlfriend onboard.
These two days, Hsu was on break and arrived home. The police were told, that Hsu’s room was on the second floor, and yesterday at a little past nine in the morn, his father saw that he wasn’t up and out yet, and he went to wake him up, and the bathroom doors were locked from the inside, the father felt that something wasn’t right, as he’d kicked the bathroom doors down, his son was already found, dead, in the bathrooms, with rigor set in.
So, this man’s suicide may be attributed to how he was given those reprimands by the coastguard, his ex-girlfriend pregnant with his child, along with other possible considerations, and the man just couldn’t cope with the demands of the world (I’m thinkin’, but I wouldn’t know for certain!), and that, was why he’d chosen, the EASY way O-U-T!
