Trending N-O-W, because the population is aging fast in the world, from the Newspapers, translated…
“There’s the specialized shops for infants and toddlers, so, why aren’t there specialized shops for the elderly population too?”, Lin, the manager of the branches of the Taiwan Elderly Association stated, that in two more years, Taiwan will march into the age of the elderly, the members of the community ages sixty-five and up will reach to fourteen percent of total population, and the needs for the elderly populations, the friendly environments for them to live in are now, the focus. The largest Asian elderly shopping center, “Aging and Living Well Mall” had its grand opening yesterday, it’d hoped to pass the ideas that the elderly can still be fashionable in their daily livings, and healthy too.
and, here’s what that looks like, from the papers…
Lin said, that the elderly group isn’t “burning the resources”, instead, they’re to be viewed as “consumers”. The CEO of the company, “Aging and Living Well Mall”, Chang stated, that a lot of people, when told of caring for the elderly, they’d think of bedridden, or losing abilities, but, the people from the baby boomer generations are now, a new kind of elderly, they focused on their health, plus the advancements in medicine, technologies, life is longer compared to it used to be, and, the needs of the elderly population changes with it too, it’s no longer just the medical treatment processes and care products anymore.
And so, this, is still NOT YO great grannies or great granddaddies’ population, because in modern day, the elderly population started caring about their health, the quality of life became one of the top priorities of this age group in the population, which, is why this idea of mall for the elderly population would probably be a huge H-I-T!!!
