This woman saw a need, and gave, the story of a woman’s kindness, from the Newspapers, translated…
The owner of “Chih-Shang Bento Shop” in Sinchuang, Hsinbei City, Liu, three years ago, saw a man wandering outside of her shop, she’d handed him a packed meal to him, the man’s look of gratitude became etched into her mind, she’d decided from back then, that she was going to provide the sospeso meals for the families in trouble. To date, she’d given out over 2,000 packed meals, and she’d continued to do her good deeds undercover, and, as the lens zoomed in on her, she’d said shyly, “it’s really, no big deal!”
for the less fortune…
From April of 2013, the shop on Zhonggang Road in Sinchuang had provided over a hundred food vouchers to the local land offices, and through the “material bank” of Hsinbei City, passed the vouchers to the families in need. And to date, she’d given out over 2,000 packed boxes of meals, and, her neighbors had no idea that she was doing the amazing deed, they’d hollered, “the shop owner is really personable and kind, and we’d not expected that she’s so compassionate too!”
In front of the camera, Liu became shy, held tightly, onto a corner of her apron, claimed, that the packed lunches aren’t delicacies, “I just want everybody to have the foods that they need, to not starve, it’s really, nothing!”
Liu recalled, that she’d met a man who wasn’t dressed warmly enough, wandering outside of her shop, looked like he wanted to come into her shop, but hesitated, Liu walked out of her store, and handed a packed lunch to him. And, the man’s look of gratitude had touched her life, she’d found, that there are those all around her, who are starving, and not dressed warmly enough, she’d decided to do something about it, “Even if it’s just me, I’m going to try to make a difference.”
Liu heard about the “Items Bank” program, she’d contacted the local land offices, and provided the meal exchange vouchers for the families in need, and later, she’d joined in the meals program, benefitting the elderly in the population, that when the elderly aged sixty-five and up came to buy the food, they’d needed to show their I.D., with their dates of birth, then, they’d get a $10N.T. discount.
And so, this, is a woman who actually helped out, she saw that there’s a need, and became eager, to help out the less fortunate, and, she’d given more than enough, not only did she manage to feed the hungry people’s stomachs, she’d given them some warmth too!
