Another tragedy, that could’ve been easily prevented but wasn’t, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A woman, Liao (age 57) was suspected of feeling that she’d not taken good care of her own grandson, for not watching over her families enough, she rode her motorcycle out alone, and was found, to have fallen into the dried up creek in Wujee District in Taichung, she died, the police notified the families, and the family members just, couldn’t believe that it’d happened.

Yesterday morning at around 10:30, the local residents found that there was a woman who’d drowned by the dried up creek areas of Guanju Bridge in Wujee District in Taichung, the locals immediately called the fire department, the firefighters first performed CPR on the woman, but after they’d rushed her to the hospital, she still died.

The police went to the scene, and found on the bridge, the woman’s red jacket, her slippers, as well as a red envelope containing the charms, lying, orderly on the ground, the deceased had no visible external injuries, and so, the police ruled out murder. The police found the identity of the woman from asking all around, but nobody reported anybody missing, and so, they’d suspected that she was not a local resident, that she must’ve come in a car.

The police found a small steel-roofed shack about a hundred meters away from the bridge, and they’d found that one of the mo-peds was from out of town, and they’d suspected that it’d belonged to the woman who’d fallen into the creek.

The police contacted the owner of the vehicle, Liao’s husband picked up, and he couldn’t believe his ears, but after he’d confirmed that it was his mo-ped, and the color matched, and that his wife did ride out in the morning on it, he’d gone to the site, to identify her body.

Liao’s husband said, that his wife had been emotionally unstable, and blamed herself for not taking care of her grandson well, and that she couldn’t do anything well, and she’d spoken of how depressed she’d been lately, he’d not expected that she would commit suicide for real.

The psychiatrist, Wen-Ji Liu said, that the grandparents are under a lot of stress, looking after the grandchildren, and if the family found the grandparents complained of how difficult the child had become, and showed signs of headache, insomnia, and anxiety, they should immediately take them into the hospitals.

And so, this, is a case of a woman who put herself under too much stress, and, from what’s told here, you can gather, that she’s probably a perfectionist, and, she’d put herself under too much stress, and she couldn’t handle it, and, had the family members paid more attention to her mental well-being, I’m pretty sure, that it’d still not have made a difference at all…
