On the Eighth of the Chinese Lunar Calendar year, at the age of sixty, you all not cared about how cold the wind was, how strong it’d rained down too, came to my place as guests. Hugging each and every one of you had, brought warmth to my heart, it’d made me enjoyed the moments of having close friends and loved ones meeting together.
In the past year, because my eye troubles, I’d stopped reading and writing, I couldn’t LINE all of you either, just like a kite without the string attached, I’d fallen god knows where, lost my center in life.

That day, although I couldn’t get a clearer look at all of your faces, but, the chimes of all your laughter had, brought light to my eyes. Especially when Kelley who works as a volunteer for the blind told the stories of how the blind had, faced their lives so optimistically and bravely too, it’d lit up that fire inside of my soul. I’d known, that no matter what the outcomes, the important thing is, cherishing the moments.
At lunch, I’d, tasted each and every dish you guys brought over, there were, a ton of compassions that were, placed in my bowl, oh, how I do hope, that this gathering will, never, ever end! Later on in the evening, I’d, accidentally discovered, that the huge lobster that Fei-Fei brought over was still in the fridge, guess, it’s the hearts you guys left for me then.
Counting it, since we’d met in writing class almost nine years ago, I’d lived, in your warm embraces since. And even if I’d become, completely blind one day, I do believe, that you guys are, the brand new window that God had opened up for me.
So, this, is the amazing support of her friends, and, she is grateful for all of their kindness to her, and, they’d met up in writing class, and, managed to stay connected since, amazing how long the friendships are able to last, isn’t it???
