The Salvation Army Taiwan Chapter last night held the “CEO One-Night Experiences, Living as the Homeless” activity, the diplomat from New Zealand here, as well as the diplomat from Australia to Taiwan waited alongside other participants, and ate the packed meals, and camped out on the floors, to see what it felt like, living as the homeless.
and this, is what this “experience camp” looks like…
The belief of “Homeless for One Evening” is worth commending sure, but, these C.E.O.s had placed the blankets onto the carpeted floors, then, lay down the cardboard boxes, and, they’d all, gotten cozy, inside their warm sleeping bags and slept, it may be difficult, for them, to understand the TRIALS and the HARDSHIPS of being homeless, because in the real world, a lot of the homeless population can only place a piece of cardboard box onto the park’s walkways, and only had their heavy coats, to keep them warm through the cold nights.
And yeah, you’ve GOT to be SHITTING me here!!! Just because you god DAMN high-end CEOs camped out on the floors of an office building with the set temperatures, and you’d had those SLEEPING bags to crawl into, well, in REALITY, those members from the homeless community aren’t as lucky, they do NOT have even a blanket, so, until you can really, live as them for a day, you would not know, exactly, how their lives are, how they are living…and this activity is just, pointless if you ask me!!!
now, the REALITY of being a homeless person…
see the differences???
