Awful parents here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Lin thought that it was troubling, how his live-in girlfriend had her three-year-old young daughter with her, he’d taken the young girl, and just, “dropped her off” at the police station, was sued for abandonment; Lin claimed that he’d led the child into the station, then, walked outside, but the Highest Courts believed, that the police shouldn’t be forced to take responsibilities for unwanted children, and found Lin guilty of abandonment of a young child, and sentenced him to a year and two months in prison.

The D.A., when indicting Lin, they’d wanted to go for a heavy sentence, the first trial the judge found Lin not guilty, the D.A. appealed, and, on the second trial, it’d found Lin guilty, and mandated that he needed to serve in jail for a year and two months’ time, Lin fought for a third appeal, and was tossed back by the highest courts; Lin’s cohabiting girlfriend, Deng was given probation, and the results of her case was finalized, because NO appeals were filed.

Lin lives with Deng and Deng’s three-year-old daughter in Linkou of Hsinbei City, Lin disliked how the child would misbehave, rode the bus with Deng, took the child and dropped her off outside the local subprecinct.

Lin claimed that he’d been there, behind the child all the way, and he did, make sure that the child had gotten into the subprecinct, and was safe, and then, he’d, left her there; he’d also sated, that based off of the laws, the laws regarding children, the officers had an obligation, to protect the children, that the child was not in life-threatening danger, and that he’d sent the child to the subprecinct, because he’d wanted the police to help track down her birth father.

The Highest Court pointed out, that the criminal charges for abandonment is to protect the life of people, and once the behaviors didn’t fit the caretaking norms, and, had put those who couldn’t care for themselves in “abstract dangers”, then, the charges would stand, that this law didn’t take into considerations, that it would only be effect AFTER something awful had happened to the abandoned. And that the police as well as the social service organization that the child was in the care of were both NOT the legal guardians of this young child.

And so, this LOSER who’d abandoned this young child of HIS girlfriend’s tried to weasel his way through the wordings of the law, and was unsuccessful at that, and what surprised me was how the mother had, allowed this man to do that to her own young, another unfitting mother in the world!!!
