A letter to you, translated…
I think that you must be well-off right now.
You’d had retinol problems that was sudden in onset back in college, causing you to see less and less by the day, but, optimism was, your best weapon, after you’d started working, you wore those thick glasses, worked in the mall service industries that kept your interests all along, because you loved the raucous, and loved interacting with people, loved showing your down-to-earth, genuine wish to help others.

And, of course, when your sight worsened by the day, to the point you can’t even see the blurred out shapes anymore, I’d bumped into you in the handicapped job search centers, not only were we able to become “classmates”, we’d continued, to offer one another the supports too.
After we finished training, we went our separate ways, you’d started a business, I, married, and afterwards, we’d still called one another to give each other encouragements. I know you couldn’t see, and is immobilized, and didn’t see it fit, to impose on me, but I’d wanted to say to you, “Every inch of the ground you’d walked on, will produce more and more positive energies, because of your positive outlook on life, not for just me, but for ALL others who, when at a low in their lives, giving them more encouragements, and motivations, to keep pushing forth.”

And so, this person was inspired by someone s/he met at a job center, and s/he is impressed with the person’s attitude toward life, how even IF the individual is blind and handicapped, s/he still not gave up on hopes of life, and kept working hard, to make each and every minute that s/he has on this earth count, and that, is the positive attitude which the world can use more of…
