The Chiropractor Received a Life Sentence for Brutally Murdering His Girlfriend’s Ex-Husband

Jealousy, would be the CAUSE of this murder here, I’m thinkin’, from the Newspapers, translated…

A chiropractor, Wu who was trained in the special forces, was suspected of being unhappy that his girlfriend’s ex-husband, Chen thought he was the one who’d broken up his marriage to her, he took along a diving knife to confront Chen, swung over ten times at Chen, killed Chen immediately. The Shihlin District Court believed, that Wu was more violent than he’d needed to be, showed NO signs of remorse, but considered that he was, diagnosed with depression alongside some other major conditions, he was given the life sentence, and stripped of his public office positions for life. The case can still be appealed.

Wu (age 39), is a retired paratrooper, had gone through the trainings from the “Cold Mountain Specialist Squad”, very able-bodied and strong, later on, Wu became a chiropractor, and worked alongside Yang, from the Chinese medicine clinic, through the introductions of Yang, he’d met Chen; Chen was divorced back in 2013, Chen suspected that Wu was the third wheel that broke up his marriage. Wu and Chen were both into drugs, Chen persistently believed, that back when he was serving time in jail, Wu had gotten in between the love of him and his own wife.

Last August, Wu took a scuba knife, to Chen’s Shipai residence for a confrontation, they’d started arguing, Wu took the knife, stabbed toward Wu’s neck, head multiple times, then, turned himself in. Wu stated, that Chen had texted him “I must take revenge over this”, “if you don’t come out to confront me, I’ll find your family members”, along with other threatening messages, he’d finally had it. Wu said, that it wasn’t until after Chen’s wife was divorced from him, did he start seeing her, but was mistaken for being the one who’d broken up his marriage.

At interrogation, Wu said that he was an avid collector of military items, that ten years ago, he’d bought the scuba knife online, but as the court held its sessions, he’d changed his statements to how “the knife belonged to Chen, he’d brought it to me, for me to sharpen it for him.”

The judge heard how he’d not set on his testimonies, Wu said that he’d wanted to kill himself, but started believing in God at the detention halls, and after talking with the pastor, he’d thought, “after I’m released, I can still do some good for the world”, decided to “tell the truth”. The attorney also defended him, that Chen was the one who brought the knife, that Wu had the ability to take the knife from him, that the murder happened in accident. Wu also disclosed that he’d volunteer as a recycler at the hospitals, that he may have accidental needle pricks, that he may have contracted some life-threatening illnesses. The District Courts investigated, that Wu stabbed the vital organs of Chen, causing him to be severely injured, and so, the judge gave him life sentence.

And so, all of this still stemmed from a little jealousy, and, it’s still very, opinionated, because this man started seeing this woman, and, the woman was divorced, and so, the ex was led to believe, that he was the one who broke up their marriage, and, a confrontation that went deadly is what had happened here…
