Preventing Dementia, Starting to Watch Out for Health in Midlife is Still Not Too Late, Adjust the Diets, and Exercise More Often

The experts pointed out, there’s a close link between having a healthy lifestyle and aging well, if during one’s entire life, the person had not bothered about keeping up with healthy routines, it would be difficult, for the person to live healthy until death; and, if you’d lived actively for the first half of your lives, but stopped living in that lifestyle as you’d aged, the results would be the same, but, if you’d started watching out for your physical wellbeing after midlife, then, you may still, have a chance at, aging well.

The longevity in Taiwan is increased, but, the problems of Alzheimer’s, and declining abilities are worrisome, the second to the CEO of Fubon Life Lee found from his observations of the curves that there are about no more than ten percent who’d lost physical capabilities under age sixty-five, but this rate hiked up to thirty-nine percent after age eighty-five, there’s a three-percent differences, in a matter of just twenty years. Based off of statistics, the elderly losing their abilities are at a younger age compared to when the elderly population get diagnosed with dementia, but, the curves for dementia is slowly, rising up too, in order to prevent dementia, losing of physical abilities, you must start working on it in midlife.

The results of a research conducted by WHO’s 2015 Accord of a Healthy Old Age zoomed in on researching the lifestyle in Sweden, the study divided the sample into high and low risk factors, the former consisted of alcohol drinkers, smokers, and people who are obese, the latter consisted of those who exercised regularly, kept healthy diet, without troubles of obesity or bad habits such as drinking and smoking.

The results found, that those who are in the low-risk factor group tend to live longer, and they’d followed up with another 3,000 participants of this study, that if they’d kept up with their healthy diets, and consumed low-fat food items more, like berries such as strawberries, blueberries, or dark chocolates, can all improve the basic functioning of the body, adding to the activity level, and increased their social activities as well.

Basically, what this is saying, that we need to keep a healthy diet, live a healthy way of life right now, starting having the good habits forming right this moment, because if you’d realized, that you needed to start getting healthy, it may be, too late, for you, to get your health back, after all, you’d let it slide, for how long already??? Exactly, and so, this, is for the long-term…
