Must I wait until I’m eighteen, I feel I’m going crazy here.”, the fifteen-year-old’s text message, written with her blood and tears disclosed her father’s atrocities toward her; the Shihlin District Courts found that he had raped his own daughter a total of one hundred seven times in the span of four years, and sentenced him to thirty years in prison based off of forced sexual acts.
The adolescent girl’s parents got divorced four, to five years ago, but the family still lived under the same roof, last year on September 18th, the adolescent girl couldn’t get her mother to get a notice for her absence at work, she’d LINE her mother about how she was raped by her birthfather.
She said, on the day before her eleventh birthday, she and her father were home alone, she’d entered into her parents’ bedroom, to get the cooled air from the air-conditioning system, her father asked her, “Do you want to try something fun?”, then, the father went and locked the bedroom doors, took out a condom from the closets, then, raped her; back then, it was just, shortly after her parents were divorced, “My father’s body was very heavy, I kept struggling, but just, couldn’t break free.”
The adolescent cried, that after her father had his ways with her, he’d threatened her, “Don’t tell mom, or, she may kill herself”, “if you told your younger brother, he’ll have a difficult time living her, I won’t give him any allowances at all…”, after that, the father would often take the advantage when the other members of the family weren’t around, to rape her, approximately once every two weeks, as she’d entered into the second year of her middle school, her father would get her to obey him, let him have his ways with her, by grounding her, and not giving her any allowances, along with other ways too. She’d told, that her father had been known to become violent with the members of the family, therefore, she’d not dared, told anybody.
The teen’s father originally denied having damaged his own daughter by rape, but after he’d not passed his polygraph, then, he’d admitted to it, that he did, have sexual intercourse with his daughter three times, but, his daughter was the one who’d initiated the processes; he filed for divorce with her mother, because he was injured on the job, and, in order to receive the government low income assistance, that, was why they’d falsified the divorce, that it should be the girl’s mother, who’d wanted to get the money from the government from him, that, was why she’d told the adolescent, to libel and slander him.
The judge considered, that in the trials, the adolescent girl refused to recall, and had shaken her head constantly, and started crying endlessly, that there was, signs of severe trauma, the very first time she was raped she was not-yet eleven, didn’t have a clue of what intercourse is all about, and it would be, difficult, to imagine, that she would, initiate asking for sex from her own father, plus, the adolescent was disclosing what had happened to her as a child on LINE to her mother under normal circumstances, that she wasn’t, put up to it by her mother, the judge gave the father a thirty-year heavy sentence.
Yeah, uh, you’ve got to be shitting me here! How is thirty years in prison going to change what had happened to this teenager? She’d been raped, for one hundred seven times, and the father used his status of power to force himself onto her, and that, is just not the kind of traumatic experience that can be made up for, by sending the perpetrator into prison for a limited time, because, what IF the father got out, and wanted to revenge against his own child?
