Life, the Obstacle Course

In Order for Some Things to Happen, You Must Believe Them First

On the right values you should take, to approach life, translated…

The biggest difference between man and beast is that humans have imaginations, and so, we can make up a world we had never experience before, and even, exercise our imaginations, and create things from our own minds, for instance, playwrights. A lot of people would envy how someone who works in the play writing business can exercise her/his own imagination, but, writing up the scripts is actually, a lonely business, because you have to be the very first person who believes the stories, and other than you, nobody else knows the shape, the forms that this story is going to take on. You’d needed that very strong will, then, you will able to write out an original tale, then, take your audiences, into a world of your imagination. And, this mindset is not only applicable in the creating in the theatres, but in other areas as well.

There was a reporter who’d asked Steve Jobs at the time when the Macintosh Computers came out if he’d done the market surveys first, Steve Jobs laughed at this inquiry and replied to the reporter, “Did Bell do a market research survey before he invented the telephone?” he’d also stated, “if Henry Ford asked his customers what they’d wanted back then, they would’ve answered that they’d wanted a horse that ran faster, instead of a car.” The conclusions Jobs made was, “Unless you make a product to SHOW your customers, otherwise, they wouldn’t KNOW what they want. Our job is prophesizing what the people want.”

Some things, must happen, before you can believe in them, for instance, the snow started falling on Yangming Mountain in the city of Taipei; but some things, you’d needed to believe, before it can happen, for instance, love, happiness, success, and that “Silent Disco” that was on display on the streets.

Most of the time, people are too busy, accepting what’s happening before their eyes, because all of these facts are, presented before them, everything’s roots can be traced, with reasons to back it all up; but, if all of these truths can’t satisfy you at all, do you have the courage, to imagine what the future will be? O you have a strong enough will, that will take you on this unknown journey into an unknown world?? If we all wait, for things to come to us, and not taken any actions toward the goals until we’re absolutely sure of success, then, our lives will be, spinning around in circles, standing still—some of the tings, you must have faith in, before it can happen.

So, this is on the leap of faith, and, sometimes it is hard, to take that leap of faith, because you can’t see what’s in front of you, you don’t know what’s going to happen to you (will you fall flat on your faces, or will you soar high above the skies) if you take that leap, and, until you’d let go of ALL those inclinations that are keeping you grounded and just L-E-A-P, you will NEVER know what you’re actually capable of achieving in life!
