The Social Services Department stated, the Liu household wasn’t listed as “high risk”, but Liu didn’t have a stable job, his live-in girlfriend was unemployed, the Social Services Organizations listed them as in need of government assistance for low-income two years ago, and offered them the supplies they’d needed for every day living, back then, the social workers who’d visited found nothing wrong with the family; after the abused to death and seriously injured case, the social services department already placed the two other young children in protective custody.

Liu has a son with his ex-wife, the ex-wife has the custody of him; the remaining four kids’ custodies are all Liu’s. The social worker who came into contact with Liu told from their observations, that Liu was the primary caretaker of ALL the children of the household, that he’d shared the goings on of his regular life with them, and the kids were all very active and upbeat. Just this past month in January, Liu went to pick up the goods, the social workers were heartbroken over what had happened to the children.

The manager of the Taipei Household Prevention Offices, Chen sad, that there were, seemingly burn marking on the five-year-old little girl’s body, and because the wounds were inflamed, she was sent to the hospital, and is now, still under observation; the one-year-old, the three-year-old young boys didn’t have any apparent physical injuries on them, after assessments, they’re found to be in good health, but they are now, placed, in protective custody.

This is still “after-the-fact”, because this little girl had been beaten up badly, that was why, the social services are now, starting to pay close attention to the family, but it’s already too late, a little girl WAS, severely injured, and now, all the government CAN do is to place the remaining children IN protective custody, and what would that do? Nothing, NOT for the child who’d already been, seriously INJURED!!!
