Taking Care of His Grandmother as if She Were His Girlfriend, Watch Me Entertain Her!

From the Newspapers, translated…

“Do you have a boyfriend right now?”, “Do you feel lonely, or cold?”, “You’re cold, then, just get underneath the covers, and, we’ll, heat everything up!”, this, is not the conversation between a boy and a girlfriend, it’s the quick Q&A between Jing Lin and his grandmother.  The hilarious conversations that passed between this grandmother-grandson pair had made them famous overnight online.  To date, the video had gotten over three million hits.

Jing Lin, at twenty-four, is a big boy who’d just gotten out of the armed services, cleanly looking, he has another name, with his wig, and some makeup on his face, he’d become, “Flying Baby”.  Jing Lin showed EVERYBODY his funnier side, and never tried, hiding this part of his personality from his own family members either.  He’d engaged in funny conversations with his grandmother every now and then, a bit horny, every now and then, but, his grandmother had, always reacted, as if he was, too ordinary to be paid any attention to, and every now and then, she’d told him, “Stop fooling ‘round!”

“Getting along with my grandmother is like interacting with a friend,” Jing Lin told, from when he was quite young, he’d run around, in front of his grandmother a lot, being overly active, and, this way of interacting, the grandmother being quiet, he, active, it’s never changed, even now.  “We’re not acting because we’re on film, I’m always making jokes, and, she’d always, not responded!”

Although his grandmother didn’t mind him, fooling around, but the online community had something to say about it, and every now and then, someone would tell him to show more respect, but Jing Lin rebutted, “The online community is NOT our family members, who are they to decide how we interact with one another in the family?”, but, there are those online who’d watched Jing Lin interact with his grandmother, and gotten reminded of their own grandmother who’d passed away, thought that he was, blessed.

As he was growing up, Jing Lin watched his grandmother take care of his grandfather who had a stroke, and from time to time, his grandfather would intentionally, turn the porridge his grandmother prepared over.  Back then, he’d watched his grandmother who was silent, wiped the floors off, then, got one more bowl for his grandfather, he felt that his grandmother had a trying life.  “Back then, I’d not known how to help her out, but after grandpa was gone, it felt, as grandma was, free, that she’d not felt as tired anymore, I’d wanted to take good care of her from then on.”

Although he may appeared crazy and wild, Jing Lin is a very fitting grandson, he’d taken his grandmother to her checkups regularly, helped filled up his grandmother’s bicycle’s tired with air, adjust the television screens for her, held conversations on everything, clean her ears.  When the grandmother needed something, she’d turned to Jing Lin, and he’d not felt annoyed or impatient, “Grandma is my second mom, and I just wanted to cherish the years I will have with her.  I loved helping grandma out, her smiles are priceless, there are not very many cases where the grandchildren lived with the grandparents, I’m more than blessed, to have a grandma to tolerate, and to support me!”

And so, this young man carried the mindset of gratitude in taking care of his own demented grandmother, and, because she took care of him, raised him up, that, was why he was more than willing to, return the kindness she’d shown him in his younger years, now that she’s elderly and demented.
