here’s the game, in progress…

Call it an accident, but you should’ve been more careful, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

Two children, Deng and Liang were playing a game of kick ball, Deng was hit on his right eye by the ball that Liang kicked, causing his retina to detach, he’d sued Liang and Liang’s parents for damages.  On the first trial, the courts believed, that Liang was on the offense as he’d kicked the ball, said that he was not to blame, that he’d not needed to pay; however, the High Courts in Taiwan believed, that Liang should know how easily someone can get injured, kicking a ball in such a small space, but he’d not paid enough attention, and mandated that Deng needed to pay Liang and his family $980,000N.T., and the case can still be appealed.

Deng and Liang were both fourth grade students in a certain elementary school in Taoyuan, after school on October 16, 2010, they’d made a date with other students, to head to the basement of the school, to play kick ball in the hallways, Deng and Liang were on opposing teams, after Deng saw Liang kicked the ball, he went up, to block it, and was, hit in the face, his right eye suffered retinal detachment, he’d gone through three surgeries, and can only see the fingers fifty centimeters in front of him right now.

Deng’s parents sued the school, Liang and his parents for medical fees, and emotional distress, of $7.24 million N.T.

On the first trial, the courts believed, that Liang scored on the offense, that he wasn’t directing the ball toward Deng’s face out of malice, and, Deng, went up to block the ball, out of defense; and plus, there is, a certain level of dangers in every sport of game, that Deng and his family didn’t need to pay.

The High Courts investigated, that the teachers had told the students, to take their games to the center field, believed that the school was not to blame for any of this; and, being fourth graders, they should already know, that playing ball in such a narrow place can cause impact and injuries, and yet, Liang still kicked the ball, and Deng also, went up to block it, and the blames are sixty-percent on Liang, forty-percent on Deng himself.

not my photo…

So, this, is the results of NOT following the rules of safety, and, the parents of the boy got sued, this just showed, that those rules of safety aren’t there for NO reasons at all, that you must abide by them, for your own sakes!
