The countdown on the blackboards went from a hundred, to one, for the last year high school students, all of them wanted to won in the battle of college entrance. But the pressures that accompanied, as well as the anxieties, we can’t imagine, there were students who were found to have fevers for no reasons at all, with stomach troubles, insomnia too. But, I still have that one overly used line for them all, “Treat it like your classroom exams, like any other day”.
Before the exams, all the schools would remind the students again and again, keep your schedules, your eating habits regular, on the day of the test, remember to bring your test identifications, as well as the writing utensils. But, for the sections on the exams, I still must reiterate:
The two most major mistakes when answering the test questions are, not seeing, or misreading the words. You must, read the statements, word, by word, slowly. You know this, but, you’d made some, stupid errors, it’d caused you, to get deducted, doesn’t that make you want to strangle yourselves?
And, on the subject of bumping into questions you don’t know the answers to, you may have skipped on the questions, but, your minds are, stuck on getting the answers, and so, you’d put down the answers in the wrong slots, and, until you’re done with the entire exam, you’d found, that there’s still one more question you hadn’t answered yet, and that, is when you may begin to panic. There was a student who’d made such an error, but, it’s too late, to correct by the time he’d realized. I suggest, that you mark the tests, and, choose an answer that you feel most confident about. Then, after you’d gone through the entire test, then, come back to this one that’s had you stumped, then, you can, avoid, making this major error.
Then, leave NO blanks, on the essays, write about whatever that’s related to the topic, because you’d written something down, and there’s a chance that you’d get partial credit, whereas if you don’t write anything down, you get NO credit.
Have more patience, and be more careful, then, you can avoid, making the mistakes you shouldn’t be making in the first place.
So, this, would be the advice for all test takers, no matter which exams you’re taking, just follow these rules of thumb, and, the writer of this article is a teacher, and, this is probably from the years of teaching experiences that this man had, watched the students, making the mistakes on the exams, and so, he’s sharing it with the rest of the public, hoping, that students can pick up their own slacks, and do better on their college entrance exams.
