A woman, Liu, through a website, met a man who claimed to be single, after they had sex, Liu discovered that he had divorced and married, and was with children too. She’d sued him for two million dollars, on the first trial, the judge mandated that Ding the man needed to pay Liu $200,000N.T.; but the Higher Court in Taiwan believed, that based off of her level of education, Liu knew what is meant, by “taken care of”, and, she should’ve asked Liu about his status, to avoid being sued for the obstruction of family, the verdict was overturned, and Liu lost.
Liu, in November two years ago, met Ding, two days later, they’d had sexual intercourse. Afterwards, Liu had multiple times asked Ding if he was single, in order to earn her trust, he’d sent her the back of his own unmarried older brother’s identification card to reassure her. Liu stated, that in the three months they’d been dating, she was misled into believing that he is still single, that, was why she’d fallen for him, until she’d found out via Facebook, that he wasn’t, she believed that he had, offended her bodily health status, made her suffered emotionally.
Ding rebutted, that on the website, Liu had only stated out the rules that she wanted in a friendship relationship, and that being single wasn’t listed by her as one of the qualities; he was looking to find a woman to sleep with, and the woman was the one who slept with him, that their sexual intercourse has nothing to do with either of their marital statuses.
On the first trial, the courts investigated, that the website had a round-and-about references to what constitutes as “being kept”, but, based off of the societal understandings of it, it means using money, to trade for long-term sexual intercourses, like paying for sex; but in the second trial, the courts believed, that Liu, before she’d sorted through the doubts of whether or not Ding was single and had had sex with him, clearly, she was, using money, to buy herself a partner in sex, as for whether or not Ding was single was not emphasized, and the courts ruled that Ding didn’t have to pay.
And so, this is still due to how men and women CAN’T keep their PANTS on, and, because this female MASTER degree holder (hello, hello, hello, and wouldn’t you think, that with a higher-ed, you are supposed to be MORE intelligent than that???) was looking for a fuck buddy, she’d not counted on falling for this LOSER who posed as unmarried, and this, is how blind love gets!
