They Worked at a Vegetable Stand in the Marketplace Together and Turned Against One Another, the Woman Sued the Man for Robbery

A partnership gone awry here, from the Newspapers, translated…

The sixty-six year-old man, Chen and the fifty-year-old Dai, four years ago, started setting up a vegetable stand together, the two agreed, that the income they’d made is kept my Dai, and split evenly at the end of the week. Two nights ago, because there was a disagreement in splitting of the money earned, they’d gotten into a verbal altercation, Dai got angry and started using a knife, and chopped down a chicken coup, Chen took the cash, from Dai’s purse on her waist, and Dai sued him for robbery, he was taken into the police station.

The police investigated, that Chen and his wife originally set up shop at the market, four years ago, he’d partnered up with Dai, two nights ago, Dai went to Chen’s stand, discussed the stocking of the good with him, Chen asked Dai to take the money out of her purse, to split the $89,000N.T. cash, Dai however, told him, that the sales from that day was only $13,000N.T., that the rest of the money was hers personally.

And they’d started having a verbal altercation in the middle of the nights, in the middle of the street, Dai was angered, and picked up the watermelon knife close by, hacked up a basket close by, Chen went up to stop her, then, managed to, get the purse she had around her waist off of her, and stuffed all the cash into his own pockets.

In the process, Dai started hollering, “Help!”, the members of the public took down the footage of their altercation, posted it on Facebook, they’d also, called the police over.  Dai accused Chen for pulling on her hair, and threatened her to turn over the money with a watermelon knife, she’d sued him for robbery.

Chen said, that it was because Dai had, gone back on her words, unwilling to, split up the earnings fairly, he’d only wanted what was his share, that, was why he went for the purse, and stuffed all the cash into his own pocket.

Chen’s wife stated, that she’d only known, that there was, something unprofessional going on between her husband and Dai, that her husband abandoned her and the kids, treated their home as a hotel.  But Chen and Dai stressed to the police, that their relationship was, strictly professional, that money was the true cause of their disagreement.

So, who’s fault is this?  And, what’s this about?  No one can say for sure, because unless you were, the aforementioned parties, you can’t tell the story.  And this still just shows, how easy, people can turn against each other, for some miniscule reasons such as money.
