Prayers, left on the rug, by that kid who fell asleep, praying to God last night. By dawn’s early morning light, someone in the house was reminded, of the prayers, left on the rug the night before, and so, the parents went to pick it up (like how parents would pick up after their young???).
Prayers, left on the rug, they get swept up, by that robot vacuum, as garbage, and to think, that those prayers, left on the rug were once, someone’s hopes and dreams, and now, they’d become, rubbish, garbage, tossed away so carelessly.
not my picture…
Prayers, left on the rug, she’d left them, with the words, scattered all around and about, and, unless you were there, as she’d prayed, you can’t possibly, find out what those prayers used to be, before they were, left, there, on that rug.
Prayers, left on the rug, how? How can something that meant so very much be left so carelessly? And, tonight, as another bedtime prayer’s said, you will find that the morning had come, and, took out that prayer from last night (like trash), and left it, out on the rug again………
