Back in my arms, is where, I’d longed, for you to be, but, you’re not, back, in my arms, not even close! Back in my arms, why can’t you be, I love you still, very, very, very much, I’d given you, all that I am, why, why, why did you, have to, abandon me, in my time of need? I’d never, left you, hanging dry, ever!
Back in my arms, yeah, if only, but, you’re already DEAD, and, I refuse, to allow the dead (you), to have a hold on the living (me!), so, I will have to, just, keep on, reaching out, to the emptiness, to that void, that loss inside of my heart. Back in my arms, you will NEVER be, because, you’re now, in a better place (yeah right, as there is, NO heaven!), it’s better that way, as I’d, come to my senses, plus, why the hell, would I, want to, bring you, into this god DAMN F**ED up world, just so, you can get, RAPED like I once had been?
Back in my arms, you never will be, I didn’t even have a chance, to see my child, in that sonogram, ultrasound or whatever, then, she’d been, lost, expelled, from my body, and, it was, excruciating when it’d happened (back in ’08!), and now, my darling, DEAD daughter, Emily, is the BEST memory I’d ever had, of the future………
