Forgetting, with an apology, I’d felt, so fumed, so heated, because of what had happened last night, you’d come home late again, and, turned this house upside down, left bruises on my bod, and, puked, ALL over the bed, and, in the morn, when you woke, with that horrible hangover, I was the one, bringing you the cures, and, you’d, apologized, for last night, and, I’d, forgotten about it, let it slide…
Forgetting, with an apology? Yeah, wouldn’t that be nice, if everything CAN be forgotten and forgiven too, with those three little words? But, what does, “I’m sorry” do again? Oh yeah, it does SHIT! Forgetting with an apology, not a chance, because I’m not the kind of person that allows ANYTHING to S-L-I-D-E (plus, I don’t RUN a baseball game here still!!!).
Forgetting, with an apology, I won’t, because what was done was nothing that anybody CAN apologize to me for, and make it all go away, unless, unless you managed to find that ripple in time, and go back, to CHANGE the way you’d treated me, but, there, IS NO ripple!
Forgetting with an apology, not a chance, besides, I don’t apologize to anybody, for ANYTHING, because I KNOW I ain’t done one single thing wrong, and, I will NEVER be, accepting, any apologies from ANYBODY, so, just SAVE it already huh???
