not my photo, not the photo from the paper still…

This “outrageous” accident had caused a lot of discussion online, a ton of people are now, screaming out about how this couple had a total disregard of other people’s children’s lives, that it’s someone else’s child who’d died, asked the investigative officers on the case, to pass the most severe of punishment to them both.  Last night, the police first interrogated Lai, and Chen was hospitalized, they will wait until his conditions are more stabilized, then, they’ll interrogate him too, they’d charged the woman based off of involuntary manslaughter, and public endangerment, along with other charges.

The freeway police investigated, that yesterday, Lai drove southbound on her SUV, at around two in the afternoon, she drove past the Mado section, she’d started having a verbal altercation with her boyfriend who was on the passenger side.  Lai said that Chen lost it in the moment’s time, went for her handbrakes, and, that the pulling of the handbrake might cause the SUV to lose control, and so, Lai immediately stepped down hard, on the foot pedals, to stop the car.

The seven-seat SUV cab that Lin was driving, was right behind Lai’s car, with six passenger in his car, following right behind Lai’s SUV, and, as the SUV reduced speed instantaneously, he couldn’t slam on the brakes quick enough, and rammed into it, and, the container truck behind the cab hit the cab from behind.  And, the cab was rammed from the back, and the front as well, the car was so bent out of shape, and, there were painful cries from the inside of the cab constantly, blood was everywhere.  Lai and Chen were also injured, the container truck driver was okay.

a HUGE no-no when you’re driving on the road!!!

As the Fire Department of the city of Tainan got the call, they’d rushed on site immediately, moved six ambulances, and lifted the seven out of the cab, Lai, as well as Chen, to the hospitals.  Of the passengers in the cab, the sixty-one year-old woman, Chen suffered head injuries, her brain flowed out, she’d died; another female passenger was stuck inside the cab, and, the firefighters used the machineries, to tear the cab apart, to get her out, there were huge areas of lacerations on her head, and arms too, after she was intubated, she was placed in the ICU, the remaining seven people who were injured had bone fractures, contusion wounds, and are not in life-threatening danger.

This car accident had caused the southbound to get congested for three kilometers total, it took the police an hour, to finally sort through the scenes of the accident, at around 3:30 in the afternoon, the traffic flow became normal again.

And, this is what emotional gets you!   This couple were spatting, and, the man lost it, and, pulled up the handbrakes, and, causing the cars from behind them, to ram into them, causing so many injuries, and deaths too, and now, they will be charged, with vehicular manslaughter.
