The Taiwan Teacher’s University Devised a Technology that Can Tell the Difficulty Levels of Reading Materials, Which Books are Suited for Which Child, Let the Computers Choose Them for You

The general science magazines, how, general are they?  Do the children really get the materials, presented in the children’s readers?  The team of students from Taiwan Teacher’s University, with the funding support of the technology department, devised the “Smart Reading Reading for Understanding Program” system, used to analyze the level of difficulty of the reading materials, and can accurately tell the level of the students’ reading abilities, and automatically recommend the book suitable for the students of various reading levels.  Currently, the system is being used in eight separate cities, in thirty elementary and middle schools, and the system was put forth to Hong Kong, Indonesia, as well as other overseas nations too.

And so, this, is a good system, because it’d separated the students’ skills level, giving them materials that fitted to their separate levels of understanding individually, similar to that of an I.E.P., except that this is only in reading, and, I’m sure, that with this program, all the kids will get the help that they will need, in the areas that they’d needed the help in too.
