From before the books on finances, the novels that took the top place, had both been replaced, by the coloring books for adults, that are supposed to heal. This showed, how at this unsettling age, people needed the books, to help them find that calm within.

The coloring books, “Secret Garden” that was already selling very well in European nations as well as the States, the total number of books being sold had exceeded half a million in volume, not only did it manage to, get the first place for best sellers in three of Taiwan’s largest book stores, it’d also made the records for publishing in Taiwan too—the very first time, that an arts/designs book had landed, on the head thrones of the bestseller’s list. It’d moved the sixty-eight publishers to put out 207 different volumes of coloring books during a year’s time.
Kingstone analyzed, that coloring helps people focus, de-stress, and forget about oneself, with that quality of being able to be “shared” with those who are into it, this caused the users of these books to feel warmth and a sense of achievement. The Yuan-Liou Publishing Company’s editor in chief Wang stated, that “Secret Gardens” can’t be defined as a “book”, it’d used the lines, the colors, to awaken that sense of purity, inside the minds, “wanted the adult males and females to awaken that sense that’s been forgotten a long time ago”.
The founder of Good Words Publishing, Yen said, that the coloring books had, “played a joke on Taiwan”, that the best selling book is actually, a book without words, a book that didn’t need to be, “read” through. This also proved, that the Taiwanese public had, “too much time on their hands”, the time it takes, to finish coloring the books, a person can manage to read through a novel, with tens of millions of Chinese characters.
This just shows, how EMPTY the souls of modern day man are getting, you need to color, to space out now, because you are too stressed out at work, with your bosses, screaming at you, for not meeting that god DAMN sales quota, blah, blah, blah, that just shows, how modern day man are not focusing on what’s really important, that they’re, getting lost, in the useless things in life…
