Enticed by the illegal brokers, but were, controlled by the brokers, worked a ten-hour work day, making $6,000N.T. a month, if taking a day off, $1,000N.T. got deducted, it is said, that over a hundred had, fallen victims, the police searched forty locations, managed to get twenty-eight individuals freed.

Last year, the Offices of Immigrations found an Indonesian woman who was working as a call girl at a small food shop, and, from her, they’d learned, that there are, over hundreds of other women from her country who are being controlled by the human trafficking ring.  The detectives last month searched forty locations throughout Taiwan, saved twenty-eight foreign hired workers, and caught the mastermind of this human trafficking group, Huang, and they’d charged him with organized crimes and human trafficking.

The office of immigration pointed out, that there are, still many runaway foreign hired workers who are still at large, that they will keep on, chasing down the leads; the twenty-one women and seven men who were found had already been extradited back to their home countries one by one.  As the foreign workers were found, they’d all said, that they’re finally freed, claimed that the reason why they’d run away from the people who’d hired them originally because the deal that the illegal agencies are way too appeasing to them, they believed that they can make more money away, but were, restricted and controlled, and had what they’d made taken from them, some of them worked for every day of the year too.

The assistant manager of the specialty squad from the Offices of Immigrations, Bai said, that the illegals who were found were mostly assigned to living in steel shacks in the distant regions, headed out early, and returned late.  A male started working at six in the morn, by the mountains, planting the vegetables, trees, and didn’t return to the “concentration camp” until nighttime, he’d never had a day off.

Another female foreign worker was keeping the livestock in the mountains, worked over ten hours a day, she said she’d wanted to run away, but thought about how she get paid $6,000 N.T. a month here, so much more than what she’d made in Indonesia, that, was why she’d still, worked; and although the person who hired her gave her the thumbs up for her good work, but, he’d not paid her, as most of the money was taken, by the agent that got her this job.

And so, these foreign hired workers were lured, by the false promises of good money, and because they’d needed to make more money, to send home to their families, that, is why they fall to the scams easily.
