Uh, can someone say: SCAPEGOATING, and this is still not, solving the problems here, but hey, someone HAS to “hang”, in order to, satisfy the public here, from the Newspapers, translated…
The news of how a middle school student from Hsinbei City had taken out a knife and started slashing her own wrists in class last week had raised the alarms, two days ago, the school held a meeting, and decided to fire the homeroom teacher, but the parent of the student wasn’t in attendance at this meeting, the school stated, that they would be willing to, resolve this matter, with the uttermost understanding. The female student’s mother stated, that after her husband returns back to the country, she’ll be willing, to make an appearance, but the daughter is already stressed in all ways, she hoped, that the school can, give her, room to breathe.
The female student’s mother said, that awhile ago, she’d gotten a call from the school counselor, and clearly stated, that she needed to head over to the schools, but as she tried to get to the school, she was, blocked from seeing the officials, causing her to refuse to interact with anybody from the school, before her husband’s return from abroad; the school yesterday afternoon still had officials visited the teen’s home, causing her and her daughter to fear, she’d cried, “My daughter is having nightmares every single night, can’t you just, give us some room to breathe first?”
“Can I stay out of school?”, the female student’s mother stated her daughter’s feelings, but back then, she had, failed to, notice that something wasn’t quite right, until the damages are already done; later on, she’d learned, that the reason why her daughter was bullied was because she’d stood up for someone else, and her daughter stated, “I may not even DARE to help anyone out from now on”, causing her heart to break.
She said, back when she’d called up the Department of Education, she’d only wanted justice for her child, hoped that the school, as well as the bullies can, apologize to them in person, and be open about how the school had handled the matter on the day her daughter slashed her own wrist in school.
The school principal, Hsieh pointed out, that he’d already held a meeting with all the parents in the class, and they’d agreed that the home room instructor shouldn’t work there anymore, and had asked the new homeroom instructor to undergo group therapy sessions, as well as psychological counseling with the rest of the class, to change the interactions of how the students relate to one another, to dissolve the misunderstanding, hoped, that the students can still, get along with one another.
As for the original homeroom instructor, the school will counsel her, and, the punishment of her not handling the matter well will be noted on the instructor’s final evaluation at the end of the school year. The principal said, “The students who was blamed for the bullying is also hurt too, they’d stated, that as they tapped the female student’s lunch box, they were, directing their behaviors toward their homeroom instructor, not toward that female classmate.” The school will have the students “show respect toward school properties”, “restricting their free time between classes”, as well as other means, as punishment for what they did.
And because the female student’s family kept her away from the school, the counselors, the psychologists couldn’t intervene, plus, the parents and the school had a difference of observation on how the matter was started, for now, the school is holding a parent-teacher conference, to communicate with the other parents, to get to the bottom of the truth, and to set the other students up for counseling as soon as possible.
This, is seriously, scapegoating, because someone HAS to hang, for how this girl had, hurt herself, and, the boys who’d made fun of her said that they had NO intentions of insulting the girl, and so, naturally, to answer to the madness of the “crowd”, in this case, the public, the school hanged (fired) the homeroom instructor, and, maybe, the instructor should’ve known that something wasn’t quite right with this young woman, but hey, imagine how you’re in the middle of a group of twenty to thirty teens, and you’re supposed to keep track of ALL of their behaviors? Life is hard, on the teachers here, and this, is still, scapegoating, as the public wanted someone to H-A-N-G, for this school girl’s self-mutilation attempts.
