This female student is truly, amazing, not only did she forgive the man who stole her bicycle, she’d also, helped him, as she saw he needed it, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
A female student, Yen’s bicycle was stolen, she was notified by the police to get her bicycle back, she saw the suspect who stole her bike was barefoot, with only a thin coat on, begged, real hard, for the cops to let him off the hook but the police wouldn’t let him she’d given him a pair of shoes, a coat, and handed a hundred dollars to him, for the ride home.
The suspect, Lin was moved by Yen’s kindness toward him, tears were, circling in his eyes, as he nodded to acknowledge her kindness, thanking her, in the process of getting interrogated by the police, he’d kept his head lowered, he was, deeply, in remorse; the officer who handled the case commended the student for having a grander kind of love, at her age.
Yen is a third year student at the Soochow Technical High School’s child care department, showing the kindness to the suspect who stole her bike, she’d kept that from her family, as well as school, “We must have more empathy!”, she’d stated, that night, it was only, eleven degrees Celsius in Chiayi, so cold, and Lin had on only a thin coat, and no shoes, “of course I’d, empathized with him!”
On the morning of 19th, Yen rode her bicycle to the Lakefront Train Station, parked her bicycle there, rode the train to the city of Chiayi for a function, and, as she’d returned to get her bicycle, she’d found that it was, missing.
The police reviewed over the surveillance camera footage, found that the twenty-two year-old Lin that night at around eight, walked barefoot, and stole her bicycle, they’d suspected that Lin was still close by, and had the officers searched for him close to the station; Yen didn’t have anything that can take him home, so, he’d stayed put at the train station.
That night at around eleven, the police found Lin, riding the bicycle he’d stolen at the Waterfront Farmer’s Community, took him back to the station. As her bicycle was found, at first, Yen was beyond happy, but, seeing how the suspect was not wearing any shoes, and had only a slim layer of coat on, s he’d felt bad for him, “He must be freeze in this weather.”
Yen begged the officers to let Lin off the hook, but was unsuccessful, she’d rode her bicycle home in the freezing wind, grabbed two pairs of flip-flops, as well as a thick jacket that belonged to her younger brother, a pair of wind-resistant gloves, half an hour later, she’d returned to the subprecinct, said that the items were for Lin, the officers saw her, and were, very surprised that she’d come back to the station.
The suspect, Lin appeared remorseful, put on the shoes and the coat, and was taken into interrogation, Lin claimed, that his home was in Yilan, but, not too long ago, he’d gotten into an altercation with his family and was kicked out, he’d stayed in Tainan, worked odds and ends, but, the work wasn’t regular at all. On the nineteenth, he’d rode the trains to Waterfront County to hang out, without any form of transportation, as he passed by the train station and saw a bicycle without a lock, he’d just, rode off on it. After Yen learned that Lin was working odds and ends in Tainan, she’d handed him another hundred dollars as cab fare, so he could get a ride back to Tainan.
So, this young woman NOT only forgave the man who took her bicycle, she’d gone way beyond what was expected of her, helped the man out even further, and this, exactly what the world needs more of today, the kindness from people. It’s great to know, that there are still, hearts as wonderful as this young woman’s in the world today.
