The Warden Was Impeached, for Locking Up an Inmate, Causing His Death

This is still happening, NOT just here, but in other places of the world as well, the ABUSE of inmates by the prison systems, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

The thirty-six year-old inmate who was imprisoned for robbery, died abruptly on December 1^st of last year, the investigative committee found, that the operations of the prison systems was at fault, yesterday, they’d impeached the warden, Dai who was working at the time, the secretary, Chiu, the man in charge of the rehabilitation center, Lin, the guards, Lee and Chiao as well.

The investigative committee investigated and found, that Lin, the inmate showed serious emotional disorder, would mutilate himself, and attack other inmates, and the prison system just assigned him to seven treatment sessions at the prison’s hospital systems, didn’t offer him the right kind of help that he’d needed, instead, they’d, chained him up with handcuffs, and other items.  On the day of the incident, the prison had placed a safety helmet over Lin’s head, stuffed a tongue piece into his mouth to prevent him from biting off his own tongue, and, locked him onto the hand railings by the hallways, and in the end, Lin died of respiratory failure and deterioration of his organ systems.

The person investigating the matter, Kao told, that this sort of inhumane treatment, everybody from the jail warden, to the orderly, everybody knew of, but, they’d not, taken a note of it, and, after the man died, they’d still not believed, that something was WRONG in the way they’d managed the prison systems, “this sort of inhumane treatment, stripping away the right to life of someone,” Wang, a member of the reviewing committee pointed out.  That this sort of corporal punishment is only to be used for no more than a week, and before using of this measure, a superior officer must sign off on it, but, breaking these rules had become, the norm in the prison systems, that the justice department must also take into considerations, the rights of the inmates as humans as well.

So we have here, an inmate who’d been abused to death, and, had this case not busted out into the open, god only KNOWS how many MORE inmates will die, because of the mistreatments, the abuse by the prisons’ guards, wardens, or other officials who work there………
