After a game of basketball, I’d gone to my uncle’s nearby, to ask for something to drink.
My uncle was in his extravagant living room, savoring some of his wonderful teas, seeing us come in, other than filling up our cups, he’d gloated how the water he’d gotten, to steep the tea in was from the melted snow of some high up mountains, how costly his teapot, teacups were, as well as the teas themselves, measured up to gold………naturally, the shiny glow from the teas, made us all, drool, we’d drank it all up, and, asked him to pour us another cup.
But, my uncle opened up his eyes, really wide, told us, with that sense of displeasure, “Go, into the kitchen, and get yourselves some coke!”
not my photo…
Aren’t the teas best in quenching the thirsts? Doesn’t my uncle, who’s a tea drinker know that?
Of course he knows, it’s just, he cared a lot about the costliness of the teas he’d steeped for you and your friends, and, seeing how you’d taken it all down, in one gulp, he felt, that it’s, a total waste, giving it to you, and besides, how many smaller cups of teas will it take, for you guys, to finally get your thirst quenched, and, if the teas are really expensive, he’ll surely, lose a TON of money, serving those cups of teas to you, and that, is precisely why, he’d told you and your pals, to go to the kitchens, and get yourselves some coke instead!
