A perspective of the world here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
“If you can keep your head when all about you/are losing theirs, and blaming on you………”
It’s been ninety-five years, that the New York Times had, once more, placed the commentaries back onto the front page sections, and, there is this, aching that asked, the members of the Congress, to make amendments, to enforce the issue of gun control, asking the two primary parties, to take a stand on the issues.
The New York Times blamed, that the emphasis of the shooting in California being another terrorist attack as shifting the focus, because, killing of innocents are forms of terrorist attacks. The American government is at a difficult place, because after Paris was hit, everybody is afraid, that one’s own country will fall as the next “victims”, nor are the countries, willing to, give more powers, to the terrorist groups in the world.
And, the New York Times had, placed the Commentaries onto the front page sections of the papers, at the time when the Americans are worried, it’d reminded me of the poem by Rudyard Kipling, “If”. The New York Times pointed out, that the public, other than blaming the perpetrators, they should also, blame the political figures, for NOT paying enough attention, to NOT place that ban on weapons of mass destruction. Toward the worshippers of the Second Amendment, the New York Times pointed out: there’s NO rights that’s unlimited.
Actually, after the Russian airplane was bombed, and after the terrorist attack on Paris, the Republicans were ecstatic for a short while, believed, that key focus of the election can be directed back to national security and international affairs, which showed Trump, as well as Carson’s lack of expertise in the area. But, things didn’t go as expected, as the newest poll showed, that the supporters of Trump had, increased to thirty-six percent, the highest that it’s been, since he announced his candidacy.
Bluntly put, Trump’s strategy is manipulating the public’s emotions, and evading discussing of the policies. As for whether or not the commentaries on the front page of the New York Times become “everybody else is intoxicated, I’m the only one sober”, only time will tell.
And from this you can see, just how EMOTIONAL the voters are, how easily they would get diverted, from the issues, how easily manipulated they all are, and it’s just not the voters in the U.S., but voters across the world too, because, we’re all, too emotionally invested into these important issues, that, is why we can’t vote rationally, using our minds, we are prone, to vote, with our emotions, which is why, we will always, end up, choosing a BAD person as the leader of our own separate nations………
