I kept hoping, that my other half can give me my favorite pink roses on some special occasions, but, being nickeling and diming, he’d only, handed me those carnations that he received, from the office, which made me feel, that he wasn’t, putting enough thought into giving me the gift.
Before the eve of my wedding anniversary, I’d gotten a thought, I’d ordered a bouquet at my friend’s floral shop. She’d asked me, “Where to?”, I wrote down the address, she became confused, “to your husband’s office?”, I’d smiled and nodded.
The very next evening, my husband returned home very late, with the bouquet I’d ordered, with the two angel bears, with a HUGE “I LOVE YOU” ag, with a note that has, “honey, thanks for working so hard, happy anniversary!”
He had that look on his face, told me, “When I went to my meeting in the morn, the guards told me, that someone had, delivered some flowers, told me to go downstairs to get it. I thought, I’d not had a promotion yet, how come there’s a bouquet? Then, I’d guessed, that it was, the work of my wife, asked my assistant to sign for it downstairs, after a short while, she’d come in, with a bundle of flowers, I was so shocked, she’d told me, that it was, so beautiful, and, there were, coworkers from other department who heard the raucous and came into my office to see, they’d made fun of me, on how blessed I must be, that my wife would, send me flowers.” My son had said, because he felt, very embarrassed if someone sees him, that, was why he’d waited until everybody else was out of the office, then, he’d, carried the bouquet of flowers to the car.
My kids and I started laughing, my kids told me, “this sort of thing, only you, mom, comes up with it!”, I’d accepted that bundle of pink roses, and, told my husband gladly, “Thanks, honey!”
Yeah, that just shows, how far a woman has to go, to get her husband, to come home with a bundle of flowers, and that is, on their ANNIVERSARY too, and that just shows, how thought LESS you all are, to your wives’ (1 @ a time!) needs, sometimes, we just want you guys, to show us a little MORE appreciation, on our wedding anniversaries, now, is that asking too much??? I don’t think so!
