With all the pieces of the clues, pieced together, one small thing, got connected with another miniscule matter, continually asking, unrelentingly grilling, the former question, because the key to the next question.
Sitting in front of her attorney, Jia-Jen said, that time, Mr. Hong appeared out of the blue in front of my rental place, I was so scared. A few days later, Mr. Hong asked me over to his place, he said he’d needed me to come. Mr. Hong said he’d wanted to get to the bottom of, WHAT exactly, was inside that safe deposit box.
“What, do you think, was the purpose, for Mr. Hong’s asking YOU, to go and open that safe deposit box?”, the attorney asked.
“I’d not known Mr. Hong’s plan entirely. Having me opening up that safe deposit box, I suppose, was Mr. Hong’s plan all along. Back then, I only knew, that Mr. Hong is for real, that he was preparing something horrible.”
“You believe, it’s to, conspire with you on something?”, the attorney asked.
Jia-Jen said, “I can’t imagine that Mr. Hong is very awful. That, wasn’t the very FIRST time I’d fallen for it, the time I’d gone to his place for a drink too.”
Looking at her lawyer, Jia-Jen lowered her head, recalling, that time, she’d, lain on Mr. Hong’s bed, out, for god knows how long! And, Mr. Hong must’ve spiced up her drink, after she woke, she was in men’s clothes. Mr. Hong had been asking her to come in the afternoons. And, in the early evening, Jia-Jen received a call to go. Come on over, I’d prepared the foods, and the drinks, poured into the glasses already, Mr. Hong urged her on in the call.
Jia-Jen continued, “I didn’t think much of it, just a kind old man, who’d wanted me to join him for a simple meal that’s it. He’d told me, being all alone living on your own, away from your kin must’ve been real hard on you. Dong-Kuai duck, ginseng chicken, as well as other kind of items, Mr. Hong would bring it over in a temperature controlled container, and told me to drink and eat some, while the clients weren’t coming in. Mr. Hong said, that girls should be cherished, and that he’d made the soups for me.”
“I’d thought, that it’s the kindness from an older man toward me”, Jia-Jen started cracking her knuckles as she spoke.
“Mr. Hong had dug those pits, and making me jump in, what’s worse was, he’d made it felt like he had my best interest in mind too,” Jia-Jen told the attorney.
She’d continued, that time she woke on the bed, Mr. Hong smiled and reminded, that there were surveillance in the community, and that there was, a super sitting at the front of the gates, that there’s, evidence everywhere, that I’d walked in by myself.
Jia-Jen said, that until she saw how the surveillance footages in court, everything was so detailed, so planned, so well-thought-out, including the time when Mr. Hong had the money wired into the accounts, the original records, it’d all shown, that I’d gone with him, willingly, the monetary transactions too.”
Jia-Jen continued, “Hong is so awful beyond my imaginations. After I’d gotten drunk and passed out, during the time I was out, I guess, that Hong had a camera, and the memory card was, locked up in his drawer next to his bed”
“From the moment I’d entered into his place that evening, I’d gone according to Hong’s plans. I’m slowly understanding, that there is, NO way out for me.”, Jia-Jen shook her head.
Taking a look at her female attorney, she’d continued, “after the New Year’s this year, Mr. Hong had pushed very hard, to get rid of his own wife, in the plan, he’d had me to get a prescription from a nearby clinic, and me, adding the medication into her coffee. And, it didn’t matter IF the plans were successful or had failed, I’m involved.”
Jia-Jen took a long breath in, continued, that the only way after there are, NO other ways, in order to sever this off completely, she’d waited until Mr. Hong took his trip up north to see his physicians, made a visit to Mrs. Hong.
“The day we met, Mrs. Hong’s reactions had, sent chills down my spine”, Jia-Jen lowered her head as she’d told.
“Mrs. Hong didn’t believe a single word I’d said. Believed that I was the seductress, coming on to her husband, and that I’m after her money now.”
“You, didn’t warn her, that her husband, was planning, to screw her over?”, the attorney spoke very slowly, making every syllable emphasized.
“She wouldn’t believe me anyhow, must thought, that I was, coming between them. Anyways, Mrs. Hong just, couldn’t believe, that her husband would be, unfaithful to her. As I left her house, I’d realized that this, wasn’t going to work, that this won’t be the end of it. That Mr. Hong will appear again, in my future with Hsien-Ming.” Jia-Jen told.
She’d paused for a bit then, “Back then, I’d gotten worried, I was so in need, to rid myself of Mr. Hong.”, Jia-Jen stated.
After it happened, Jia-Jen would often thought, with fear, what, did she do to that woman.
Stab, by stab, she’d thrusted the knife, into her?
Jia-Jen had it clearly, in her mind, that, was the time when she’d met up with Mrs. Hong and Hong’s place. “It’s for money, you’d, sold yourself, stop pretending to be high and mighty!”, Jia-Jen remembered how when Mrs. Hong looked, with that sense of belittlement as she’d spoken.
“You should, talk to your fiancée, hear what he has to say about it”, as Mrs. Hong ushered her out of her house, she’d, added.
Why, why, was the knife in Jia-Jen’s hand able to thrust downward?
Secrets, perhaps? Perhaps, Mrs. Hong knew too much.
After meeting up with Mrs. Hong, Jia-Jen had, suspected that Mrs. Hong had, known too much already. She could hear it, that Mr. Hong had the truth, FORCED out of him by his own wife. What’s shocking was, Mr. Hong would, unknowingly, disclose his secrets in front of his own wife!
From in her childhood years, Jia-Jen had been, used to, keeping the secrets. She’d hated, children who couldn’t keep those secrets.
The sneakers were stained with chicken blood, chicken intestines, chicken shits, the younger version of herself would scrub really hard, in the faucets of the marketplace, washing all the stains off her own sneakers.
Time for school, she thought, that her secrets would, get found out, that the classmates would learn, what she did, in the early mornings, Jia-Jen was about to cry now.
As the secrets come out into the open, it’d bring about horrid results, Jia-Jen didn’t like people who know too many secrets.
Knife after knife, she’d not held back, as she stabbed, Mrs. Hong to death.
Later on, as she took the stand, Jia-Jen said, it was like she was, possessed, mind went blank, and all she could recall, was how Mr. Hong had threatened her.
On Mrs. Hong, Jia-Jen stated clearly and simply, “She CHOSE to stand by her man.”
“No matter what, you’d just, needed to kill them, is that right?”, the judge asked, harshly.
“Is that so?”, the judge stated to her again.
Jia-Jen shook her head, answered, “Mr. Hong told me, that his wife has the habit of having two drinks, and would head over to the river to walk afterwards, and that it wouldn’t surprise anybody, if she fell and drowned, because of how unsteady she’d become.”
Jia-Jen closed her eyes, said lightly, “I wanted to, go along with it. On that day, I saw Mrs. Hong with that latte, and, I’d made Mr. Hong one just like it too.”
He’d wanted me to, drug her, to take her to the river, to place her down into the river. Back then, Mr. Hong used the phrase, “place her down into the river”.

Psychiatric Report
The society evaded the subject of sex, and, even in the cases of murder because of love, the public would, erase the fact, that “sex” was the primary driving force. Only allowing “sex” to stay at place as a minor factor, it’d confused, intoxicated people, making them, unable to, control themselves.

This was not, an isolated incident, similar stories are, playing across the cafés all over. Why do the customers show up every single day, and sat, at their regular places in the shops? Think about it. Without a murder weapon. Without a body, I can’t believe, that there aren’t, any affairs occurring, in the café.
A Usual Customer at the Café
So, this, is the story, a woman who’s in need of some quick cash, got involved with an older man, and, she’d found out later on, that she’d gotten, involved, in a murderous plan, of the man, wanting to, murder HIS own wife for whatever reasons there may have been, and, in order, to tie up “loose ends”, she’d, killed everybody who was involved, thinking that it can’t be, traced BACK to her, and she’d posed like she WAS the victim of all of this too, and, perhaps, she was, victimized, but NOT by anybody ELSE, but her own STUPIDITY!!!
