A man who’s without a set residence, Jiang was suspected of committing arson early yesterday morning after he was drunk, at his friend, Yeou’s residence, and, Yeou was immobilized by his stroke, and he’d, died in the fire, as the police interrogated him, Jiang first denied it, then, admitted to it, he’d gone back and forth on his words, after the interrogation, the police booked him based off of public endangerment, the D.A. asked the judge for custody of the man, which the judge had allowed for.
In a residential place, there was a fire early yesterday morning, the police and fire department, after receiving the calls, sent out the squads to help out, the fire was raging, that it’d burned to the next door one-story home, after the fire was put out, the police and fire department went into the residence and conducted a search, they’d found Yeou, burned, on his own bed.
The forensics experts of the police found that there weren’t any signs of struggle, they’d suspected that he was already dead, or that too drunk to wake up, causing him unable to get out, they will decide the cause of his death after the autopsy today.
The police found Jiang (age 61) at the scene, wreaking of alcohol, wandered about the scene of the fire, they’d suspected that he committed arson after he got drunk.
The police told, that Jiang has priors in possessions of illegal substances as well as theft, and in the interrogation, Jiang first denied, then, claimed, “a life for a life”, but, his statements were inconsistent, at first, it was, an accidental fire caused by a barbeque, and said, that he was displeased at how Yeou’s sister-in-law sued him for theft, that, was why he’d filled up the iron casing with charcoal, and started the fire.
The police found, that Jiang would head over regularly to Yeou’s as a guest, they’d know one another since they were children, Yeou (age 57) was immobilized from a stroke, and would move around by way of an electric wheelchair, as Yeou’s family members saw Jiang yesterday, they’d kept grilling him, “Why, did you burn my older brother to death?”
After the police interrogated, they book Jiang on murder, and public endangerment charges. The district attorneys from the D.A.’s office asked the judge for Jiang to be taken into custody, which the judge had granted.
So, we still don’t know, the EXACT cause of this man’s burning his friend to death, but, it’s a tragedy all the same…
