Three years ago, the month-old infant girl was suspected of being abused to death by her own mother, Su, and her live-in boyfriend, Hsu, the two of them had poured hot water over the infant girl, cut her body up, then, dumped her body into the trash trucks. The social workers reported to the police, that the infant had been missing for some time, Su started crying out, “My daughter’s dead”, that, was how this case of the mother, murdering her own offspring got out into the open. Su and her boyfriend, Hsu, on the seventh of this month admitted to tossing the infant’s body, and on that day, it would’ve been the child’s fourth birthday, the two adults were booked on murder charges, and the D.A.’s request for them to remain in custody was allowed.
The police investigated, that Su (age 32), is a publicist of a bar, and met the former bar manager Hsu (age 24), moved in with her own infant daughter who was born on November 7, 2011 with Hsu. Hsu has a history of violence, and the infant girl had multiple times been abused and cried, the neighbors reported this to the police.
In July of 2013, Hsu and Su took along the infant to stay at a hotel in Taichung, Hsu had, hung the infant on the hook in the bedrooms, slapped her around; the infant was crying very loud, the neighbors called the police, but the social workers reported to the scene found no proof of abuses, and so, they’d listed the baby and Su as high-risk individuals.
Afterwards, the social workers called Su twenty times, but, Su refused to allow them to visit her home, three months ago, the Taichung Social Services Department listed the baby as missing, and had an alert out on the infant. August 25 of this year, Su reported that she’d given up her daughter who was born last year up for adoption, the social workers paid her a visit and asked about the whereabouts of the infant, Su said, that she’d asked a relative or a friend to look after her, but the infant was never found, and the social welfare departments feared that something had happened to her, and reported it to the police.
In September, the police caught up with Su, she’d claimed, that the infant had fell into the harbor in Taichung in June, then, changed the statements to how she was in the care of her godmother, and left, in the care of her older god brother, she kept going back and forth on her claims; not long thereafter, Su moved, and turned off her cell phone, the police worried that something might have happened to the young infant girl, looked hard, for Su.
On the sixth, the police managed to find Su in Wufeng, took her back to the station. The officer told her, “I’m looking for So-and-So Su”, the seemingly calm and collected Su finally cracked, cried out, “My daughter’s dead!”, and told the officers, that three years ago, she saw her daughter having a seizure, wanted to call the cops, but Hsu threatened her not to, and the two of them, cut up the young girl’s body, then, disposed of it at their rental place.
On the seventh, the police went to Taichung Penitentiary to ask Hsu about the child, after knowing, that Su had told them already, he’d admitted to, beating the child because she cried, but didn’t know why the infant died.
Hsu claimed that the two of them went out, bought the scissors, then, they’d poured hot water over the infant’s to reduce the fluids from coming out of her body, then, cut the infant up into pieces, bagged her up into four separate bags, then, tossed her out, into the trash truck of their building.
Finally, this case is, closed, and, it’s because the mother could no longer live with the guilty conscience from murdering her own young, and that still just shows, that if you do something evil, and not get caught right away, don’t think, that you’d, gotten away, because, you will get caught eventually!
