A man, Lin, from Jien-Shih County in Hsinchu, this May, was suspected of taking a middle school age girl, Chiu, with a gang of boys, abused her to death, the police collected the evidences against him, and found, that he’d absorbed the temporary workers or the juvenile males, to have them extort people for money, and, as they go out to do evil, they’d put on gold chains as identifiers, and when the younger members refused, he’d threatened, “If you don’t beat him, then, I will beat you!” yesterday, police was able to make an arrest of Lin, and eight others, based off of illegal gang related activities.

And, on the case of the middle school girl, Chiu being abused to death and her body burned up, the D.A. already prosecuted Lin and several others for murder, but the Detective Agency collected the evidences and found, that the prime suspect, Lin (age 31) set up a gain, extorted items and money from people, and, absorbed the temporary workers who don’t have anything else to do, absorbed the dropouts or those kids still in school, would hang around a karaoke in the town of Chudong, Hsinchu, would stay as a group inside the bars, and, start beating on someone that they don’t like, and had gone to the victims’ residence to break the windows and the doors as well.

The police found, that a lady who worked at the counter of the karaoke had an altercation with Liu, and, Lin and several members of his gang asked Liu out to a super convenience store, took Liu by force, beaten him up, and, used the excuse of Liu, owing gambling debts, called up Liu’s elderly father, demanded a payment of $36,000N.T., then, took Liu to the Riverside park to beat, and forced him to sign the checks, then, released him.

A middle school male had an altercation with a member of Liu’s gang while playing basketball, Lin took the gang members, went into the school, called out to the student, “You think you’re something, hurting my follower!”, they’d originally planned to beat the student up, but, because the teachers made it onto the court, they’d not beaten up the student.

This, is exactly how gangs work, they make you feel that sense of belonging, and you’d given them your loyalty, and, they’d used that, to control you, and because running with a gang, you’ll be protected, that, is why those younger kids are prone to join, because they have NOBODY else, looking out for them, and, they feel safe and secure, and protected, being in a gang.
