The associate professor, Chou, from a certain university, took a female doctoral candidate to Malaysia for a scholastic forum, he was accused by the female student for drugging her, and raping her, he was, the D.A. in Malaysia decided not to prosecute him due to the lack of evidence, but the Taiwanese Police Department that was stationed in Malaysia had found and confiscated the FM2 from Chou’s bags, and after the female student showed positive results for her urine test for FM 2 as well, the Taichung District Courts found Chou guilty of rape, sentenced him to eight years, and the case can still be appealed.

The assistant professor, Chou denied having drugged his student, claimed that they were a couple, that before this, they’d already had consensual sex multiple times, and on the day, the sexual intercourse was consensual, that he’d never drugged her, and the FM 2 that was confiscated was actually a sleep aid that the doctors prescribed him, he’d questioned that the Malaysian police had taken the woman’s blood and urine, and found nothing, but as she’d returned, she underwent tests, and the results were positive.

But the D.A.’s office found, that as the female student flew on the plane, returned to Taiwan, and she was suspecting, that she’d been drugged, so, the drug tests conducted by the Malay police lacked validity; plus the Taiwanese police stationed in Malaysia had found FM2 and plastic tubes containing residual FM2 inside Chou’s suitcase, and claimed, that when they saw the victim, she’d reacted very slowly, and the Colletivist Courts believed, that it would be impossible for her to act that way, unless she was, drugged.

The verdict stated, that Chou is the advising professor for the female student, that the two of them went abroad for a conference, that afterwards, they’d stayed in the conference area, to go shopping, that the victim had, bought a bottle of coconut nectar, and that while she was not looking, Chou had, spiced up her drink with a level three controlled substance, FM2.

And, after the victim took a drink from the bottle, she’d felt limp and wanted to sleep, after they’d returned to the hotel, they’d gone to their separate rooms.  Chou used the excuse of asking his student if she had a hold of his keycard, entered into her room, and raped her.

In the process of being raped, the victim woke, but, she was unable to fight him off, because the strong effect of the drugs he’d given her.  After Chou left, she’d used her cell phone’s app, told what happened to her to her boyfriend in Taiwan, and asked the front desk of the hotel to call the police locally; and her boyfriend also asked for assistance from the Taiwanese council in Malaysia at the same time, and after the victim returned to Taiwan, she’d reported the incident too.

The school disclosed, that the female student had made a complaint to the gender equality board, but because she did it anonymously, they couldn’t investigate further; and now that the verdict had been handed down, Chou was found guilty, the school will suspend him.

So, does, the punishment fit the crime?  Of course N-O-T, this LOSER who raped his student only got suspended from his teaching post, while this nightmare, this woman would have to live with her whole life, how’s that justice?  It isn’t, and this, is still a crime of opportunity that’s happened here.
