Connecting the recent tragedy with one’s own experiences here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
The incident of a middle school student committing suicide in Tainan, the student’s “Letter of Regret” complained of how her primary instructor had insulted her mother, and the words she’d used sounded a lot like her last note, this, had shocked the community.
The act of suicide is mostly impulsive, and still if the person who’s contemplating suicide was elaborate on the when and the how, the ways, the causes, then, the chances of the person attempting suicide would maximize. The student showed that she’d wanted to kill herself in the letter of regret, and, let’s cast aside if the teacher was bullying her, how the instructor overlooked the signs, is the bad and careless behaviors of the instructor.
As I was a primary classroom instructor many years ago, I’d once read the word of a student that stated, “I don’t want to exist in this world anymore”, I’d immediately followed the steps on the “Suicide Prevention Pamphlet”, and put out that fire that may have caused a huge tragedy.
And, this child may have wanted to dodge the consequences of a bad behavior, that she may have heard something that sounded harsh in her ears and wanted to punish her instructor, but, no matter what, had the teacher read the note that she’d had her student write, then, she may be able to know, that something wasn’t quite right, and, intervened, by sending the student to the counselor’s office, and maybe, this tragedy won’t have happened.
And so, what this one is saying is that the suicide of this teenage girl could’ve been prevented, but, WHY wasn’t it? Because the teacher wasn’t paying enough attention? Or because the student was way too sensitive? Either way, some kid is dead, and the world wanted someone to PUNISH, and so, it’s easy, to go after the person who’s directly related to this event, the teacher, after all, the instructor DID make the student feel like s/he was insulting her mom, even IF that, was not at all, the instructor’s intention, and, perhaps, the teen’s moods were originally uneven, and, the teacher’s “harsh” words about her mother just pushed her over the edge, we don’t really know for sure!
