Last year, she’d arrived back in Taiwan, to set forth her “circling around the island five times” plan, through an alternative way of education, brought the English language to the distant areas, helped the local industries find their steps onto the international stage.

The group of young people sat down on the floors of the Taiwan Railway Station at Taipei Main Station, with their own devised English teaching materials, with the active and lively methods of instructions, attracted a ton of the travels to stand in for the lessons.  And this, is the “English Flash Mob Classroom” that Xiao-Wei Yang had set up, she’d even used this method of teaching to over twenty distant schools too.

The forty-five year-old Yang received a degree from a technical high school here, but, loving the English language, she’d gone to England, earned her Master’s degree, then, headed to the U.S. to teach the newly immigrated individuals English, helped a lot of people assimilated into the ways of living there, and helped them get jobs as well.

On the last time around, she’d helped the communities and the tribes to set up reading groups, accompaniment sessions, to help improve the lack of better environment for learning English, so the kids from the distant areas can also have a chance, to find fun, in learning the English language.  Her plans of circling around Taiwan five times is to be completely by the end of this October.

the picture is from the papers…

We have here, a woman who works very hard, to provide education to children in the distant areas, and because of how the resources are lacking in those regions, she’d brought her tools to the children, and used lively methods to instructed them, helping them improve their skills, so they can have better chances in life later on, and that, is the amazing dedication of a teacher.
