From the Front Page Sections, translated…
At the start of EVERY semester, the helicopter parents who’d shadowed their offspring, who’d looked after their young too carefully are everywhere, and they’d become, the topics of discussion, and, this is not just here, but abroad too, and the students are as young as kindergarten and elementary years, to the universities and colleges all around.
The belief of whether helicopter parents are beneficial for their young is dependent upon the different people’s views. Some believed, that too much love will become damaging, that instead of growing up into well-adapted adults, the children with helicopter parents would grow up, maladapted. The Times Magazine from the U.S., however, declared that there’s a need of the helicopter parents’ existence.
During this time, the animated feature, “Hotel Transylvania 2” from Hollywood shed light on helicopter parents in a more humorous manner. With the father more lenient, the mother more strict, and, the grandfather has his own beliefs too, on some levels, it’d, fitted the criteria of being helicopter parents, the differences lie in that the child is not yet school age.
The movie deals with another subject matter of “interspecies marriages”. In reality, the interracial marriages had become prevalent in the world today, the main characters, one is a human, the other, a vampire, which made the situations even MORE complicated, which attributes to the differences in the way that the parents educate the child too.
Because they’re different species, the weight is placed upon how one views “another species”, the members of Hotel Transylvania are proud to be monsters, but, time after time, after their human in-laws called them “monsters” too, they’d felt, that they are, weird.
Europe is currently facing the most serious wave of refugees since World War II, and the problems included the acceptances of the religious differences, and, this became the key, to whether or not, the refugees (the others) are able to be accepted and assimilated into the societies that they’d come to live in. In the animated feature, this problem is resolved easily; but in reality, there is still, HUGE room for improvement.
So, this is, through the discussions of the hidden topics of an animated movie, expanding it to the real world, and, because the main characters of the movie are different species, one vampire, one human, and, they were both, raised in very different families, and so, naturally, they’d have differences of opinion on how thing are supposed to be done, and, that, is what the writer is getting at, that we need to understand that we ALL have differences, because NO two persons on this planet ARE the same, and yet, because we share the same environment (the EARTH!), we need to learn to get along with each other, and, hey, you, stop taking her toy away from her, and you, SIT back down, and you, go to the corner, think about what you did!
