A show of appreciation here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

During the three contiguous holidays of the Mid-Autumn Festivals, my daughter’s older school mate invited her to go along on a series of sports casting shoot, causing her to not be able to come home for the holidays, and, all the activities started very early in the day, ended late in the evenings, causing her to not realize, that there was, a typhoon.

Yesterday at dusk, the strong typhoon, Cuckoo was closing in, the wind and the rain got big, as my daughter tried to rush back to the school on her bicycle, she was blown from her bike, she’d started bleeding all over, she’d still got back up, despite the pains, she’d tried, to flag down a cab, and waited, for a very long time, and finally, there was a driver who was willing to stop, and take my injured daughter back to her dorm, and she was, safe at last!

She’d told me, “Mom, back then, I was extremely moved!  This cab driver knew, that I was a student and volunteering, he’d not just not charged me, he’d also helped lifted my bicycle too.  I know he must be working hard, so, just before he left, I’d still, shoved the cab fare into the cab for him, I think, that there’s still, a lot of kindness in our community.”

After hearing my daughter, other than feeling bad about what happened to her, as a mom, I felt warmed up too.  Thanks to the kindness of the cabdriver, thank you, it’s amazing, that you were there, you’d managed to, feel both my daughter and I with warmth from your act of kindness.

So, this, is from someone’s experience, and, it’s a show of gratitude, and, it’s a story of hope, letting us know, that despite all the bad news that are floating around, there are still, amazing people who are willing to go beyond the call of duty, to assist someone.
