A man, Hong suspected that his girlfriend was flirting with a man, Chang, two nights ago, he was suspected of abducting the man with three of his friends, forced Chang to sign a check of $1.5 million N.T., and asked him to pay $300,000N.T. up front, then, they’d, let him go, early yesterday morning, the police were able to get the hostage out without harm done, and, they’d arrested Hong and his three accomplices, and, charged them based off of kidnapping, blackmail and injuries.
The police found, that the victim, Chang (age 22) works in a computer company on Civil Blvd., he was an old acquaintance of Hong (age 23, with priors in drugs), about a month ago, Chang went out with Hong’s girlfriend, and, although they’d insisted that they’d gone to the seaside to chat, but Hong didn’t believe them, and that, was how the conflict got started.
Two nights ago, Hong drove a red sedan onto Civil Blvd with his accomplices, Cheng, Lee and Chen, as Chang was closing down shop, they’d forced him into the car, and, because Chang called out to the passersby, “help me call the police!”. The district precinct got called, and started reviewing the street surveillances, and found, that the sedan disappeared into the streets of Danshui District, after they did a search, they’d found the sedan, by the parking lot of Chungchen Road, Sec. 1, the police immediately set up an ambush. The police who were ambushing there, at one in the morning, they’d arrested Lee and Chen first, then, managed to rescue the hostage successfully.
And, this still just shows, how easily someone CAN be driven to break the laws, for love, because he couldn’t stand the FACT that his girlfriend no longer loved him, and loved someone else, so, this LOSER took it out on the man that his girlfriend fell for.
