Notifying the Cops, But Fallen in Love with the Officer…the Married Woman Fell for the Married Police Officer

You still can’t help who you fall in love with, can you???  Nope!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A married woman, Wang, because her father was scammed, she’d called the police, and the married officer, Lin had often called her up, to ask about her, resulting in their having an affair.  Wang’s husband sued, and, after the officer agreed to settle, the husband dropped the charges, then, Lin’s wife insisted on suing Wang, the Taipei District Courts found Wang guilty of obstruction of Lin’s family, sentenced her to three months in jail, and she’d needed to pay $90,000N.T., to avoid serving time in jail, and the case can still be appealed.

The Taipei City’s Police Department pointed out, that after the case, Lin is already demoted, and is now, working in the internal services department now.  The judge pointed out, that Wang (age 31), in order to fulfill her own personal desires, had caused the pains of the officer, Lin’s wife; but considered how after her father got scammed, the family became poor, she was vulnerable, and the officer, Lin called to show her care and concerns, and gone out to talk about the case, that it was in the heat of the moment, that mistakes were made, the judge considered how Wang didn’t have a source of income, and needed to take care of a young child, given her a three-month sentence.

The verdict pointed out, that from February of 2012, until the start of 2013, Wang and the officer, Lin met up four times at a hotel near the precinct where Lin worked, and last year, in October, they’d gone to a hotel in Hsinchu to rendezvous, Lin’s wife found that something wasn’t quite right in March this year, and that, was when he’d told her he’d cheated on her, and, Lin’s wife sued Wang for obstruction of family.

After Wang’s husband learned, he’d sued Lin for obstruction of family too, and Lin and Wang both admitted to wrongdoing; after Wang’s husband and Lin had settled, Wang’s husband dropped the case, but, Lin’s wife refused to forgive Wang.

And so, this is how easy someone can stray, because the woman seemed so vulnerable, in need of “rescue”, and, the officer fell for that, and, that still just shows how WEAK humans are when it comes to their emotions here.
