When the Goals of Teaching is So that the Kids Pass Their Standardized Examinations…

This, defeats the WHOLE purpose of E-D-U-C-A-T-I-O-N, you’re NOT supposed to just make straight A’s on your god DAMN standardized tests, so your schools can get funding from the government, you know that, right???

When the goals of teaching is so that the kids pass their standardized examinations, so they “measure” well enough to the rest of their age group, but, what, would be the point, if they all managed, to score high on the standardized tests, when they can’t even do simple math without a calculator?  Or, speak their native languages without ANY error?

When the goal of teaching is so that the kids pass their standardized examinations, this, seems like the direction to which education is going towards, because, let’s face it, the schools need the funding from the governments, and, HOW would governments award the moneys?  Oh yeah, by comparing the students’ GPAs with their peer group, by comparing the test scores, and so, that, is why, in the systems of education, kids don’t learn anything that they can take with them out to the real world, and, in the end, these schools are making test-taking, bubbling in those circles, make sure you erase completely, SCANTRON robot test takers!

and no, still NOT my photograph…
