The seventy-two year old elderly man, Shen two months ago, asked his head hunter company’s coworker, Lin to move in with him, Lin was suspected of feeling bad about Shen, said that Shen would “nag a lot”, blamed him for not paying his share of rent and utilities, that he’d kept the environment messy, he was suspected of beating Shen to death, and yesterday, he was charged with murder.
The police investigated, that Shen and Lin worked for a head hunter company, they’d known one another for a little over two years. Two years ago, Lin told Shen, that although the rent at the company dormitories only cost a little over $2,000N.T. a month, but, it’s still an expense; Shen asked Lin to move into the abandoned house he lived in.
After the two men started living together, Lin often complained hard about how Shen wouldn’t clean up the environments, wouldn’t buy the daily living needs like toilet paper.
On the evening of September 8th, after Shen got drunk, he’d started nagging Lin again, and even asked Lin to move out, Lin was displeased at how Shen had blamed him, used the bottle, and hit Shen hard on the head, then, punched him multiple times, and had even picked up the gas stove, the table, along with other heavy items and attacked Lin’s head and arms. Lin is heavyset, over a hundred kilograms in weight, and Shen couldn’t withstand the beating, he’d died.
After Lin murdered Shen, he’d put a quilt over him, and fell asleep next to Shen’s body. The very next day he got up, and went to work, but that evening, he’d gone back to the company’s dormitory to stay, the coworkers couldn’t tell that something was wrong.
Shen’s girlfriend on the tenth went to visit Shen, found him dead, and called it in; as the police came to the site, they’d found that Shen’s face was beaten beyond recognition, and found the footprints of the suspect on sight.
After the police found out, that Shen and Lin had shared the property from before, they’d suspected him. Two nights ago, they’d brought Lin in, Lin denied having murdered Shen; but after the officers showed him the bloody footprints, and the weapon used, Lin finally admitted to murder.
So, that, is why, even IF you are just roommates, you should just, keep to your separate corners, and STOP bugging each other, besides, with people these days, you don’t know what might make them crack, like this elderly man, he’d nagged the man he worked with that he was living with for not cleaning up the living space, for not paying his share of rent and bills, and, that, was why the man beat him to death.
